Homebrew How would one play a region locked digital game?

So I recently got FE Warriors (Japaneese cuz its not out in america yet for 3ds) and whenever I boot it gets to 2 boxes with not text and after pressing a it says "a error has occurred" and tells me to hold the power button to shut down.
I would think this is a problem with the region lock but im not certain if anybody could help me I would deeply appreciate it!

Luma/titles/<titleID>.txt with "JPN JP" in it. Enable game patching in the luma menu.

I only have the title ids for smash, should I make a new folder with the title id number?
or just make the .txt file and name it the title id with JPN JP

Yes, or you can use Luma Locale Switcher to do it directly on the 3DS without needing to create anything manually.

www.3dsdb.com or that title key site both have title IDs listed.

I should ask, what is your setup? Is it 11.6 luma with b9s?

First of all, you don't need to use the legacy version. Luma has had recent stability improvements that make it much more viable to use now. Secondly, it's an odd process. Make sure you're on the latest luma version, and make sure you have the luma locale switcher CIA labeled nightly. Next, boot it up, and set FE warriors to JPN and JP. then, go to jksm and delete your save data for FE warriors. It should run now.
