I hope it's just the SD card. I will try some other cards the next days. I already downloaded the bin file fresh several times, so this can't be the issue.

Could it be that the arm9loaderhax.bin.bak or some other file on the root is distracting Luma from booting normally?

Okay so now I had the time to try another SD card and it worked! I got into the Luma3DS v.6.6 configurations.

But now I am extra careful, so that I don't mess up another time. Can someone tell me what step is next to do? I should probably copy the arm9loaderhax.bin back to the CTR Nand, so that I can use my 128 GB Samsung SD again (I am currently using the 4 GB SD that came with the 2ds).

No, you didn't have to. Just delete start_hourglass and place start_safeb9s bin file in luma/payloads would have allowed you to boot into safeb9sinstaller. (By pressing START + POWER).

Should I try this now in combination to the 3dsguide, now that the ds booted with another SD card?

Follow this link. Maybe it helps. I had similar problems with my 3ds.

Run h2testw on the 128GB card to make sure it's not faulty/fake: https://3ds.guide/h2testw-(windows).html
Run CheckDisk on it as well.
If it passes both tests and still doesn't work correctly, back up the entire card, format it with 32k or 64k cluster size, and put the files back on, with a fresh copy of Luma 7.0.5 downloaded from https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases

Better stay at A9LH like you are and switch to B9S. More reliable solution. What you can do also is when you finished installing B9S, you put the boot.firm and the luma folder on CTRNAND at the rw folder. And when you are ready, follow this : https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Run h2testw on the 128GB card to make sure it's not faulty/fake: https://3ds.guide/h2testw-(windows).html

+ This. Better be safe than sorry haha

Okay, so I wanted to tell everyone now that I successfully upgraded to boot9strap. Thank you everyone for your help! That was very kind and so helpful. Without those tips, I might would have given up.

So this was my solution to this problem, maybe someone else had similar issues :

The 128gb Samsung SD card I used, wasn't readable for whatever reason. I did the programs that were suggested but nothing showed up. So the 3ds booted with the files from the CTR Nand all the time. That's why it didn't turn on after deleting the arm9loaderhax.bin, and why it wasn't possible to get into the Chainloader.

I simply switched to the 4gb sd card and did the whole process of upgrading with this card. I also switched the arm9loaderhax.bin to 7.0.4, because 6.6 didn't seem to work.

After the upgrade to b9s, I copied the boot.firm file to the CTR as well, so that I was able to use my Samsung SD card again. And that's it. It was actually pretty simple :)

I'm so happy that I can play online again.
Thanks *-*

Nice ! Have fun using your freshly updated 3DS !

If you still have problems with your 128Gb Samsung SD card, please try by seeing if the card is corrupted or something by using h2testw https://3ds.guide/h2testw-(windows)
