Closed source means that the code is not available to the public, so many people are afraid of installing Themely because they think there's some kind of malware or stuff hidden inside its Source Code
Yes, it's very similar to Anemone but people don't trust nor Themely nor Erman, and that's why everyone was waiting for an alternative

I think I've responded everything, let me know if there's anything else I missed.
This is a known issue and also occurs with themely - if you can find a set of 10 themes that loop with themely and don't loop with Anemone I can probably fix it. Otherwise, I do the exact same thing Erman does for installing shuffle.
Can you send the dump?
Seems to be an issue with those specific themes then.
To me, the question was never about whether it was safe - I believe very strongly in open source homebrew, as the whole point is homebrew is to break out of the restrictions of Nintendo's software. Closed source homebrew is entirely counter to this purpose, as it breaks you out of Nintendo's arbitrary sandbox and puts you into another one. Homebrew communities are a lot smaller than most software developer communities, so having things be open source for everyone is hugely beneficial. Being able to read code and understand how to do things helps homebrew thrive.

I was scrolling 3dsthem.es for some new themes and i spotted that guy's theme again, reading the comments i found out that: 1) He has a bricked 3DS and 2) Also someone else complained about this problem saying that he Soft-Bricked his 3DS

No, it's not. All theme data is stored on the SD card.
It doesn't use DSP at all actually, not sure what you're trying to do that's having an issue.
No, theme data is stored to the SD card, the worst thing that can happen is home menu not showing up. In that case, turning on your 3DS without the SD card and changing the theme or deleting home menu extdata will fix
not sure if it is the right one, it's the latest, but i had some crash dumps from when the app didn't support more than 256 themes
So, is the next update gonna be a big one? Since it's been a few days since last one. Just checking. The github since to have been updated since then, but no new release.
I've been pretty busy with school and have had nowhere near the time I wanted to work on it, however the plan is for a pretty big update to be coming out soon.

Yup. Shouldn't happen again. Sound Effects were the issue. Managed to get Homebrew on my broken DS (top screen broken), so I can use that to test my themes now.
