Neither 11.5 nor 11.6 have a NATIVE_FIRM update, so the 11.4 FIRM would be the right one.

Okay guys 2 questions

1) How do I make a nand backup
And
2) I want to hack my gf's 3DS her's is on 11.5, but 3ds.guide doesn't have a guide for 11.5 Help?

it does, use ntrboot or a hardmod

1. GodMode9, check 3ds.guide's GodMode9 usage page.
2. Update to 11.6. It offers no advantages over 11.5, then do 3ds.guide.

Or stay on 11.5 and do the ntrboot method that @Dionicio3 said to do.

Do you have a CFW console already? If so you can do DSiWare hax.

Yeah I have a New 3DS with boot9strap on it but according to the guide the other 3DS needs to be on 11.6 and its not. Also its an old 3DS so I can't system transfer from New to Old according to the guide.

I'll probably just end up buying a R4i Gold flashcart and do the NTRboot method
