Also if Microsoft do cross play with Nintendo on more games, my PS4 might just be sucking up dust.
Cross play is just awesome.
Cross play, actual servers and infinite worlds just made the console versions more appealing, since now they are pretty much on par with the PC version. It's still probably a few updates behind, but it's getting there with the features.

As for what will happen with the older versions like XB360, PS3, PS Vita and Wii U, either updates will just end or this will be pushed to those as well. It should come to Wii U at least, since that version is at least more recent than the rest.

I probably should stop with the Minecraft talk now. This thread is for more than just that. :P

For watching it on the mixer app we where given, rare reply. Plus items for horizon 3, mindcraft and halo wars 2. No codes, they were added directly to your xbox account.

Last post: As mentioned earlier, Sony refused cross play, and apparently the legacy versions on previous hardware won't be included. Whether this also includes the Vita version is still not clear, although regarding the fiasco with getting PS4 on board, it probably won't be. Expect Microsoft to pull a GTA with the updates.

Not all consoles will get the Better Together update right away. The PS4 version will have to wait a little longer, while the Java version will be officially renamed Minecraft: Java Edition. It doesn't look like the Wii U version of Minecraft will be updated, with Destructoid reporting that a Microsoft representative has stated that legacy systems - which also includes the PS3 and Xbox 360 - won't receive the Better Together update.

I CRIED MANLY TEARS WHEN THE NEW ORI WAS ANNOUNCED!!
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be released on Steam later.
Really enjoyed the blind forest, and obviously I'll enjoy will of the wisps.
Also, was it confirmed if it'll be metroidvania like the previous one or use another genre? (still got triggered from the new south park game lol)
