First time you think someone like me would say something like this but, no mercy this time. :wtf:

:arrow:SOURCE = THE DEMO ITSELF! :hateit:

Why did anyone think that a demo that allows you to play a predetermined number of times was a good idea? You don't see anyone on playstation or xbox doing this. :yayps3::yayone:
Literally delete it and redownload = yay 15 more tries!

But no, I agree completely. It's silly to put a limit on a demo, unfortunately. After 15 tries, you may not "be good at the game" or not "fully understand it" based upon the demo, making you even less likely to buy their games. It's really a stupid practice in many ways from their side.

This is no different from 90% of 3DS demos, I don't see why it's an issue. While I like the testfire style demos, I prefer the limited ones like Pokken has, simply because I can choose when I want to experience the demo. Being on a timer on set days is far worse than your uses being limited in my opinion.

This is true. I would have loved a testfire like demo for Poken Dx

It's visually identical to the Wii U version, but at 60 fps. A worthy trade imo.
Thanks man! So I actually played the demo, and I have no furking clue as to what people are talking about with it "being blurry". I actually looked for the blurriness... saw none. Huh. People on reddit were HEAVILY going off about the "MASSIVE BLURINESS". They're just overexaggerating. I hate when idiots do that... :I

Meh, a demo is a demo. I don't expect every game to even offer a demo. I will say that some demos go a longer way than others, (Puyo Puyo Tetris' demo is pretty much a full game in itself), but I don't expect every title to be like that at all and i completely understand why demos choose to have restrictions and limited amounts of trials.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool

I know the basics but no strategy at all
