Hey, I wanted to play other Pokémon games on the GBA, and DS, right now I have a 3ds so I don't have to really worry but... One problem,
I mean, I could just play the games on an emulator on my 3DS or PC but I would like to transfer my Pokémon at some point, the very first Pokémon game I played was Pokémon X but I had a save data corruption TWICE from just taking out the SD Card, and one time for completely no reason (Using the digital version of the game.) So I never really had the chance to get "started" or into the game the first place without playing it a third time. So what I would like to do is play the games again knowing there are safe tools out there that can backup my Pokémon data on my 3ds.

One problem though, the only thing I have is a flashcard for DS Games and not the actual system, and I do not have a GBA (although I can emulate it on my PC or 3DS.) If I were to play games back from the DS/GBA era would I need the actual console & cartridge to back my data up? Or can I just use my flashcard & emulator to somehow backup the pokemon.

You can pull pokemon from various save files from emulators and things and then inject them into your other saves. There are various tools that can do this, I suggest googling around for ones that work across all games.

Well I did kind of find something that may work.

To make things easier since I'm not an expert at transferring .sav files to .pkm and injecting them into Pokémon games, I can use a Save Action replay and transfer the .sav file of my game to a legitimate cartridge, and then I can use PKSM (for 3ds). To store the Pokémon in my bank and backup my pokemon or transfer them to other DS, or 3DS Games.

The only problem is, I don't know if Action replay actually supports injecting save files to games. I have probably only done it once on my 3ds for a Legend of Zelda game to access Homebrew (VIA Ocarina Hacks I think or the Legend of Zelda ocarina of time in a nutshell.) but I don't use it to much to fully understand the features on the DS & 3DS. If it doesn't support that is there another tool out there that can support injecting save files to games (Specifically for DS Cartridges?)

I'm using a flashcard & emulator on my 3ds to play certain pokemon GBA games and DS games. I'm trying to figure out a way to transfer them into other games unofficially since I don't have the consoles and i'm running backups of the games digitally.

Edit: I wanted to note this to, I know how to backup my save file. But I don't know how to transfer my Pokemon to newer game installments.

you can use emulators to to transfer from GBA to DS. but from DS to 3DS you would need real hardware, because no one has made that tool yet or emulator.

your only option left is to inject your pokemon.
