Someone literally gave you code and explained the line to replace and it would actually disable the menu. We literally gave you the answer you were looking for.

Not that at all. I want it to stop listening for the button input, yet also be able to re-enable listening for the input at a later date if need be
Yet you choose to whine about it for several pages instead of trying to fix it yourself and submitting a pull request. (Yes, you need to know C for that, but it isn't really that hard once you get into it.)
Disabling the input listening thread gains you nothing.

Is there a way of preventing one 3dsx app from sending crash dumps? I have crashes in Cthulu and everytime it crashes it creates a dump...how to prevent Luma from creating that dump to avoid getting submerged in dumps?

Not 'make it an impossible keycombo', not 'set it to every button', flat out turn it off.
And instead I've had a whole mob come at me, pitchforks in tow.
Yes it's a dumb request. But it's a feature I sure as hell would use. And I'm certain others would use it too.

So you say, yet you don't want the control present atm: using or not using the button input to use rosalina
But you do want the control of toggling either rosalina or the button input on and off.
Actually, having Rosalina listed as a patch would be kinda cool..
But until that happens make your button combo LRABXY, you never hit all those buttons while playing (and if you do add start and select to the button combo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
EDIT; Or use a hex editor to make Luma look for an impossible button combination (in other words what Jacklack said)

Do you realize "stopping it from listening" has no advantage beyond psychological relief of some sort?
I guess I need to start complaining to car manufacturers to make the lights removable so I can take them out when they arent needed since I only drive during the day, but able to reinstall em easily when I decide I need to go out at night. While I am at it, make the fuses easier to access and the PC more modular so I can remove all the parts of my car I dont use constantly.
