i'd find it very hard to believe that someone would announce a new exploit on youtube instead of gbatemp

I've left a pretty decent comment on his video, interested to see how he responds. The videos' fine, but the comments this guy makes let him down; especially the stuff about bricking.
Haha damn, you went all out on him and he still tries to defend it even though he has no idea what he's talking about. That's pretty obvious.

This is exactly what got me. I saw no mention about it on here but this dude claims he has a working exploit. But this is definitely a stunt to gain views. He's asking may of the believers in the comments to subscribe for updates.

"Fake" I'm really not sure?

I have red the comments that makes perfect sense and I see he is using 2xGamepads, 1 has no scratch when loading crunchyroll, the other loading homebrew that he picks up has a scratch! also you can see the camera in the background when loading crunchyroll but when the actual wiiu sign comes up there is no camera in the background its just gone, you can just tell its not there in the glare of the screen. Between 2.10 & 2.12, camera no camera!

Edit: tbh I'm not sure now I have took a closer look and you can just make out part of his hand "the mirror image" still on the actual gamepad itself between 2.09 & 2.12, not the screen but the plastic black outline that goes around the screen and it seems to match up between crunchyroll loading and homebrew loading

Shit, this just might well be legit! or extremely well edited.

The only flaws I can see in this video, is if its so well edited, why is he not using a capture card? could be real. Also another bad flaw for someone who knows all about exploits and can figure this part out, he is using very basic newbie homebrew ways and his actual homebrew screen is very basic and comes as standard download package/setup which goes against his knowledge. Unless someone has just posted him the files and no how and he has just done a video about it but again, if hes doing that its a very basic youtube video that I would of thought would get posted up on top hacking sites before youtube, that part does not add up to me.

Just look at the bubbles on the HBL when showing both screen right after another @02:22 . On the TV they are in a completly different position + speed compared to screen on the gamepad.

Interesting! I will definitely try it out but it feels a bit overkill for me. I like being able to whitelist sites that I want to support.
It doesn't block sponsor ads on sites like gbatemp so you're still supporting gbatemp while having ads turned off.

Now you're just acting stupid dude! Some people are newbies and don't have/can't afford capture cards but wanna be part of the hacking scene. Seriously if you think it's fake try out the dns on your Wii U then! God!

What are you on about? "try out your dns on your wiiu then"?

The editing of this video for example, if it was so good he would have really good equipment to do it with so what I am saying is, if he does do video editing then he would possibly have a capture card at hand to record the video with so it could make it real, if he has not, he has nothing to hide editing wise but its been proven fake now so it does not matter.

If you monetize your video you'll get money with a certain amount of views. Every time we watch that crap to evaluate whether it has merrit or not this prick gets a few cents.

  • Somebody spends all that time devising a hoax rather than legitimately earning money.
  • Makes $10 from the views.
  • Google won't even pay out the money because the person posting it hasn't accumulated enough views (or money in their Adsense account).

Sounds like a wise plan
Someone should tell these people that even a million views would be chump change much less the amount people like this would get.

Well I mean, we can't be sure unless someone tries out the DNS in their Wii U? Maybe I'll try it and post a video of what actually happens. I just hope it doesn't break my Wii U. And just so you know, I do not own a capture card so bear with me. And by the way Reecey, if he does not own a capture card what makes you think he has the abilities to edit a video perfectly.

Thought I'd throw this out! He replaced the haxchi image with Hulu to disguise it! Ever since the Wii U released the Hulu cover image said Hulu Plus! Look at my pic below.

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now

    Interesting lol

I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb

but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1

When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol

AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that

least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more

    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
