it might be on 11.4 or something newer, a devkit was leaked and it has a higher unknown version than 11.4. don't get your hopes up.

the n3ds XL last time i checked ships with 9.9 there are most likely newer models that ship with higher by now, but i doubt they've reacched 11.4 yet. Pokemon 20th anniversary n3ds ships with 10.2
Most N3DSXL now ship with 11.2, though I don't know if 11.3 models were released recently. Last december I got very lucky and found a -relatively- cheap Monster Hunter Generations EUR 10.7 N3DSXL, but nowadays it might be harder. I know the Sun/Moon and Galaxy models ship with 11.2 though.
That's from end of last year. 11.5.2 came out in November or December. The SDK version =/ retail firmware.

"Leaked"... The dev site is accessible for everyone to sign up and order hardware, nothing special anymore. Not that it was that special before, seeing what kind of "developers" were approved sometimes. That's probably why it was opened for everybody.
I agree with this statement. A developer will have free access to the SDK :1 -I'm a developer btw, just not legit homebrew, but rather legit "authorized" console game development-

Not globally. Australia/New Zealand has had the New 2DS for a while, and there is no way there would be the time to get units to worldwide retailers before putting 11.5 on them.

i agree! and i heard smea is never gonna get 11.4+ payloads for the o3ds (homebrew launcher & etc). but yet we were able to get a working payload on 11.4 so that must mean smea is hiding something.......
It comes with 11.4.0-37X. I tried to post this information on r/3dshacks, but every time I posted it a mod would delete it saying that I was bragging about it or something.
