I saw another user mention this in passing in a different thread, didn't expect to see an update 2 or 3 hours later.
Thanks for all the hard work EZTeam.

Looks like I have some news to post.

What is GSS?
Global Softreset and Sleep
Since the move to autopatching you no longer have the client to add sleep and reset patches to those games you want them for. As getting the save patching was obviously the priority we are now seeing updates to the sleep and soft reset functionality some seem to enjoy (never seen the need myself but to each their own).

@EZ-Flash2
can you please call it ResetToMenu or similair?
this creates a little confusion with the softreset (games reset function by pressing start+select+a+b)
and when pressing R in the game list why dafuq shows a menu with 201515-151515 etc.. i guess this should show the time the rom was copied or something..
can you please make everything more uniform? replace that "time" thing when pressing R with a menu to enable\disable the patches for that individual game. so we don't require to remove the sd card and go into a computer everytime we feel the need to disable the patches

sigh.. the truth is I'd forgotten why displaying weird time by press the R key. due to the "PDA" core had been removed from new kernel, A lots of icons, hotkeys, functions are deprecated.
we will reconstruct the kernel step by step. for now, the new patch engine is the first place, then user interface.

funny though..
when i got my cart i was like "this 1.74 will probably will be the last update"
then 1.75 appeared along with the new ez iv "cool, they will produce this card for some months and call it a day"
then the 1.76 update with 254mb fix whoa great, my card is not faulty, they acknowledged it was their error and didn't left the ship like that"
update 2.00 "ok nice.. they probably used the work from krikkz and quickly implemented on their card, and now they will stop supporting it"
only in 2.01 i really realized that the ez team is not abandoning the card soon.. the fact the client is a mess and didn't get any update since 2014, i really thought this card would be left by it's own fate

i mean, this card exists like since 2006?
10+ years and the team still exists and is supporting and updating the card...
i got my card back in 2014 IIRC it was thanks to gbatemp i decided to get this card. the card i got has a "2006.03" date on it..
the fact the new ez iv, is just a "reskin\re-design" but still the same card (no planned obsolescence )
the fact 10 years later and we got a "gbatempter here" who is supposed part of the ez team..
i mean.. wow....
you know what, when i get spare money, i will fucking buy that beffed ez iv lite deluxe

Yeah, hope EZ3 will get driver for win7 x64
it does use a usb port so you got that going...
however, some of theese "usb port" old devices sometimes cheated and used serial\parallel protocols through usb...
i am not sure if it's the case of the ez flash 3, but if it indeed used this trick, it will be really hard to make it work with new OS....
but the fact the card is not manufactered anymore... well, they at least could releasing the source to the public and the people who still got this card could have fun with it...
anyway, i did read a review about that card, and very intersting the fact it does have RTC..
and by the looks of it, the ez iv is heavily based in this previous version... the difference being the ez flash 3 had inbuilt 1gbit storage, while the ez iv, replaced this storage with a mini sd (and later micro) reader and removal of RTC..

it works on WIn7 x86, but not on win7 x64.

I see you're on a roll. Nice to see such a quick fix :). So far everything seems good and the Gamelist to skip GSS patching works great when running games of PSRAM and writing them to NOR.

For anyone interested: The KEYSET.CFG requires you to add the game code from the ROM to the list. You can get this code by looking at offset 0xAC of the ROM in a hex editor or, if you like a GUI option, open the ROM in gbata for example.

Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (USA, Australia) for example will show you a Game Serial of AGB-AX4E-USA. To disable GSS for this game, add

Code:
AX4E = 1

at the end of the KEYSET.CFG file.
