Label: Its an error with the SD i think
Sm4shexplorer version used: (0.07.1)
Game version: 288
Game region: USA
Language used: English
Environment setting: I have both

Now for the description of the issue: ERROR Error while sending files to SD: Illegal characters in path.
Description of the problem:
Well I was doing my usual modding and that day I was working on cloud, Ike and some remaining voices for sonic. Though I did notice, the more I added the slower the adding process went. When all done, I built the mod fine and it was time to send to SD via the pop up message. Thats when the error in question occurred.
Did it ever work at all: Yes, it worked fine
Logs:
INFO SDCafiine: Copying 'C:\Users\User\Desktop\sm4shexplorer 0.07.1\export\release\' to SD ('J:\0005000010144F00\')
INFO SDCafiine: Calculating CRC32 values. If this is the first time with this SD card, this operation can take up to 3-8 minutes...
ERROR Error while sending files to SD: Illegal characters in path.

Thank you very much for your time.

Guys is there a way to install these mods without booting SDCafiine? I want to install Smash to my Wii U USB Hard Drive, Launch Mocha, and that's it.

Help. I've not been using this program for a while and in that time i moved my dump folder to a secondary drive to free up space. But now some of the mods i use have been updated and i wanna install them on my game too. So i opened up smash4mod.xml, changed up the paths accordingly, but now when i boot it up it says it found no data? I didn't change anything in the dump folder, i only moved it. It doesn't say anything about the folder paths being incorrect so it recognizes them alright, it only says that no data was found. Help, i've deleted and recreated smash4mod.xml like 5 times but it's still not working. Also trying to open the options window makes the JIT error window show up now for some reason

Considering the dev isn't actively maintaining this anymore, it won't unless someone else takes over. But hey, there are bigger problems, like JP not working at all, no matter what.

Yes, I'm sorry about that but with my new job I simply don't have the time or motivation to put lots of time into it anymore.

If something is not working "not matter what" after any repacking, I'd suggest looking at the flags of the files being repack, there might be a bug somewhere (it's not a final version)
If someone wants to take over and has questions they're free to contact me, but otherwise I won't be maintaining this for another while. Sorry.

Thanks for taking the time to reply at all :P

I tested it without any mods being there whatsoever--I dumped my game and update with ddd, then to test it I built the mod, and it crashes right after GAME SET appears at the end of a fight. Can you explain what you mean about looking at the flags?

Yeah, that is not supposed to happen and it wasn't happening with my game (in US version). Sadly I no longer have access to a US Wii U.
I can try to find some time to test that. Packing one extra song without any other modification. I know that was working and I don't exactly see why it wouldn't anymore. :/

Well I haven't completely confirmed that the program is the problem because I haven't gotten anyone else with the JP version to tell me if they got it working. I asked earlier in this thread, but nobody replied. I guess not many people here have a JP system, which I guess isn't that surprising. I'd just like to be able to debug this.

I have a problem with the program.

i have the FULL dump of Smash. 1.1.6 (288)
English

when i try to import mods to the treeview, it doesnt let me. its just a no sign (black circle with a line across it)
i have no clue why its not working for me. I tried every version of the explorer.

Log: could this be it?
7/11/2017 9:46:30 AM ERROR: Error parsing meta.xml. Sm4shexplorer will assume that you are using the latest patch (288) and that your game region is USA. If it isn't the case please update the config file before doing anything. (error: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\MyPC\Downloads\HAX\WII U\vol\meta\meta.xml'.)

I have (what I'm guessing is) a bug report,
Sm4shexplorer won't let me build files
This is with version 0.07/0.071
Game version is 288
English
I have a full dump and a patch
I created this thread: http://gamebanana.com/threads/208337 to describe the problem but essentially it won't build mods/copy files. It worked fine on Saturday, but, starting yesterday it gave me messages such as ERROR: Error while building the mod: Could not find file 'C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\sm4shexplorer\data\ and then some random file. I'm really frustrated and want to find a solution to this ASAP, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If Wine or Mono don't work, your options are limited to either installing VirtualBox and using Windows in a virtual machine, or partitioning your memory and installing Windows via Boot Camp Assistant.

That really really really sucks -__- I might just have to do what creeper said. There wouldn't be any issues if i did that right? because i think i saw somewhere that somebody say they wouldn't recommend it.
