Yes, about three weeks. CFG Loader for Wii, USB Loader GX for GameCube and Wiiflow for Wiiware/VirtualConsole/Emulators (even the emuNand).

When i first asked, nobody answerd so i didn't want to bother the people too much and i went for it bit by bit everyday.

But if i (who knew nothing at all) can make it, other people can make it as well, i'm sure of that. The "secret" is determination my friend :)

That's exactly how I did it on the Xbox of mine. I found a forum and made friends and after a year I helped my friend make a Castlevania pack for Coin-ops Premium. Very proud of it. It took 6 months to finalize it but very happy with the outcome.

Sorry for derailing this thread.

Is there an updated tutorial somewhere for setting up the wiiflow mastermod? I really like the idea of having 1 loader to go into for all systems with boxart for snes, nes, gc, etc all in one spot. Looks awesome. I have "WiiFlow (v4.2.3) Nintendont MasterMod Pack Full 2016" downloaded but even the instructions in there talk about installing dios mios. Which shouldn't be necessary with nintendont, right? Can't seem to find an updated tutorial.

DIOS-MIOS isn't needed for Nintendont to work. Also, the version included in the download is outdated and too slow to play with.

Could anyone help me with a plugin? I noticed the wiiSXR plugin for wiiflow located in the Alternate files. I would very much prefer to have this functioning properly as it had last been updated 2016 and wiisx regular is 2010. The Wiiflow regular plugin seems to work perfectly for me, whereas this fails to load the rom AT ALL after having selected a boxcover and hitting play. It just goes to the menu at which point it says no rom loaded. I should mention I am using the default latest stable wiiflow that comes with the pack. Any help on how to get this functioning properly would be very much appreciated, as it seems kind of pointless selecting a boxcover if the plugin fails to load the rom ;).

Hi guys,

I have a quick question.

I separated my SD:\apps folder into
  1. SD:\apps - for system apps, loaders, etc.;
  2. SD:\apps_homebrew_games - for the homebrew games only.

So, I am currently launching system apps with forwarders or homebrew channel. I set up USBLoaderGX to launch homebrew games from SD:\apps_homebrew_games

Now, back to WiiFlow:

1.Is there a way in Wiiflow to specify custom path to the homebrew folder, as I would prefer it to point to "SD:\apps_homebrew_games"?

2. Or maybe there is a way in Wiiflow to create additional "Homebrew Games" separate source menu entry, which will be pointing to "SD:\apps_homebrew_games"?

Not sure if you've noticed but Ive pretty much posted the same problem about 2 posts ago ;). Im not a computer tech and have little understanding of the source codes, but I not sure it is as simple as altering the arguments path. When you load an incorrect path from the wiiSX plugin you get an error code and the system crashes, which could be an indicator that the {Loader} is working properly. WiiSXR just takes you to the emulator regardless of what you type in, even if the filepath is incorrect. Maybe the Magic Number needs changing? or the .dol file? Im not 100% sure. However like you I would very much love some light shed on the subject. Hopefully someone with an understanding in coding reads this or the creator himself :P, as I would love a solution.

Yeah, i know, that WiiSXR have a hardcoded path (unlike WiiSX). So right now i have 2 folders - wiisx and wiisxr. Both of these have a settings, bioses. Isos is in wiisxr folder, and WiiSX plugin rompash is wiisxr/isos (or smthng)

I think there is only way - you heed a dol loader plugin, like WiiXplorer. Create a folder with .dol files and rename this as you wish. Only problem is get arguments for WiiXplorer as plugin.

I haven't seen Abz in a while but that doesn't mean anything.

If you do not need to use both USB ports on your Wii for HDDs then beta53 isn't recommended. That is the only feature it has that beta52 doesn't (other than plug-n-play) and it has compatibility issues.

so I should install 52 in 249 and 250 ?

I don't know nothing about Wii U - but when you don't have the same problem with other systems like SNES, NES, Gameboy, etc. then it's probably a problem with the way you have setup your GBA stuff.

I'm also not sure, but there seem to be like 3 fricken ways to emulate GBA in Wiiflow - there is retroarch, vgbax, and mednafen. It's really confusing to me. I have my GBA roms in vgbax folder and the covers in Wiiflow/boxcovers/vgbax (i think it's like this..)
