Thank-you. Now I have Wiibrand.exe but the t won't RN license n my XP PC. It flashes a window open for an instant, then closes...
Maybe it's not "in the cards" so to speak for me to mod a Wii.

Well I did manage to get Wiibrand to display the Usage in a DOS box window. However no mater how I enter the required information it returns a DOS error. I know it is something my dumb arse is (or isn't ) doing.

uh, Multi Mod keep turning my Wiimotion plus remote off, any alternatives? also have a GC controller but doesn't seem to be fully compatible

Is it safe to follow the instructions generated by this to update the softmod of the Wii mode on my Wii U? I've read that some procedures that work on a regular Wii will brick this Wii mode, but nothing about the Wii U is mentioned in any of the instructions, so I'm not sure if I should proceed.

Use Wii BackUpManager for that.

and format your drive as fat32 preferably.
Is your SD card a standard SD (<=2GB) and FAT32? What system menu version is your console?

But the priiloder tab you linked to the latest priiloader has no hacks_hash.ini file
Does it matter? Should i go with ModMIii Priiloader0.7 or the linked Priiloader 0.81
I've seen many articles stated better install Prii loader, could you explain whether we need to install bootmii as IOS (newer wii)?
