.Hack//G.U Last Recode heading westward

Bandai Namco will be bringing remastered versions of the .hack//G.U. series to PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in late 2017. The full trilogy of the G.U. series will be included in Last Recode, and will have new features such as 60fps framerate, 1080p HD assets, and widescreen support. Better gameplay balancing is also included, alongside a "cheat" mode, that lets players start the game with max stats.

hack//G.U. Last Recode – the definitive .hack//G.U. experience for existing fans and newbies – collects the three .hack//G.U. action-RPG titles; Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption with updated 1080p, 16:9 widescreen picture, and 60 fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes and additional features to be announced in the upcoming months.

.hack is a multimedia franchise created and developed by famed Japanese developer CyberConnect2. Comprising of video games, anime, novels, and manga, the world of .hack focuses on the mysterious events surrounding a wildly popular in-universe massively multiplayer role-playing game called The World. .hack//G.U. begins after the events of the original .hack series with players assuming the role of Haseo as he tracks down a powerful Player Killer named Tri-Edge who killed his friend’s in-game avatar Shino, and put her in a coma in real life.

In addition to offering the .hack//G.U. trilogy, .hack//G.U. Last Recode will also include enhanced battle balance and game pacing to provide an optimal experience as well as a new Cheat Mode allowing players who want to just enjoy the story to start the game with full stats.

You're all slacking IMO since it was announced yesterday.
Fair point, but I think at this point, when 99% of the news I cover outspeeds larger outlets, I think I can handle being a day late once in a while lol.

so sue me, I was busy yesterday, and I managed to type out my article and submit it a whole 15 minutes before chary did.
With worse formatting, yes. You still need to learn how to type it up correctly. Your source is the full link, when it should be just  Source (hyperlinked), and the post has hardly any original content, just copying a snippet of text, not even the press release. Not to mention the actual words you write in the post need to come BEFORE the quoted content, to boot.

I would have liked to at least see the original 4 games get at very least, the PS2onPS4 treatment. But this is better than nothing at all.
Yeah I find it super weird that the original .hack games aren't getting a remaster...because holy crap they're expensive! But maybe if this sells well, Namco can back port the earlier games...?

Have...have you never used an emote? It's this

icon. Then you highlight the word source, and hyperlink it to whatever your source is. Try to be direct with your source, don't just link to somewhere like Gematsu, unless you cannot find the original source at all. Just try to follow how front page posts are made, in terms of formatting. It's a simple process.

On topic, I am very excited to see that the .hack series still lives. I would have much preferred IMOQ to be redone, but I will take G.U. As a big .hack fan (literally my name minus the numbers, and profile picture is from the .hack series) I look forward to see what they will do in the future for the series.
