Also, maybe @Apache Thunder could make some more ROM embeddable emulators? A GB or GBC emulator would be nice. Perhaps a SNES emulator too... However, we would need to devise a way to save games. I tried a saveable version of TLoZ and it didn't keep the save as expected...

We will never able to save because the game goes to RAM

could we not make haxxstation add something to the game in ram that sends save data to the system that is broadcasting haxxstation and it is broadcasted when haxxstation is sent out.

Sounds pretty doubtful but maybe?

There are some arcade games that doesn't need save fuction.

No because we can't modify the ROM for the haxxstation

No? Unless we can get a donor cart to overwrite? I dont know if we have cart access though.

Its a Chinese bootleg with ear bleeding music that wont save. Dont waste your time.

already did, and guess what! When i walk out of my house i can walk left but if i go one space past my door to the right..... the game resets to the title screen.... wow gg

Bootlegs aren't always nice, just remember that not all emulators play nice with the same ROM. Try using it not packaged as a single on whatever the emulator for the DS is. I had a problem with trying to get Animal Forest (N64 Animal Crossing) to run on my phone, and the emulator didn't have RTC support, so it didn't boot. I assumed it was a bad ROM, but when I tested it on the computer, it was OK.

I actually forgot about that. nesDS for whatever reason doesn't like that particular bootleg. Super Mario World for NES bootleg runs fine, and a few others I think but not that one.

Since I did enjoy that nesDS version for this quite a bit (finished megaman 2 in it today for the 100th time, was quite fun as always

) I decided to make a branch of GameYob that does the same thing, accepts a rom.gb when compiling and then play that back:

edit: oh and just got done "testing" GameYob by playing through good old super mario land, at least for short and easy games like that DS Download Play is great!

For those who want to run Haxxstation and or the DS Download Station roms, it works on bootstrap Unoffical Version 1c7d950, just got it to work after updating.

Maybe we can store save files in the wifi chip like dslink or in the ds profile or something
