Who says we need a sequel
The fact that there's like three countries yet to be explored

According to the lore, valenwood is supposed to have a more lotr vibe. There's even walking trees there. If your not a fan of the actual series, you're probably looking forward to this port.

I finally got it either on GoG or a Steam sale. Forget which one. And... played it maybe 20 minutes or so. And never played since then. I will buy this. And now I will actually play it! I'm always too busy at home for games but always have time in hotel rooms while traveling and on train rides and such...

Vegetation more dense, sun reflection in water more scattered (represents newer water shader), overall color shading of environment. Textures probably not as high quality as on other platforms, but this, plus initial evidence in the reveal trailer with Switch with godrays and such, indicates to me this is based on the Remastered version.

I don't get why people complain. If you don't like it don't buy it. I do find the zelda outfit in Skyrim a bit weird though, but I had the chance to play this game only on xbox 360, the graphics not only are old but the game freezes and the frame rate drops all the time. It would be nice to play it again on Switch with better everything for a change.

There's a business point behind it.
The Zelda items in Skyrim Switch are obtained with amiibo.
amiibo are like physical DLC.
DLC costs money.
This can only mean one thing.

It's indirectly DLC.

But you can't deny these DLCs look quite nice on your cupboard.

You do realize that by wasting time on another port there's no signs of elder scrolls 6 in the foreseeable future right?
I highly doubt a port of Skyrim to the Switch was given to the dev team of ES:6, no doubt either outsourced or given to a small internal team seperate from the main ES:6 team.

If there are external asset mods on the switch for skyrim, that's literally a system seller for me plus all the switch exclusives to go along with it.Just imagine external assets on the go without the need of a bulky labtop

Was there any word if there was Mod support for the Switch version? I'd REALLY consider purchasing Skyrim again if it does.

At the moment, it's a MAYBE.

for this game i def not see a point to buy it for the switch ... this games play best on PC ... don´t have fun to waste money for a 2-3rd copy of the same old game

When I get a switch I'll probablyy get this game, never played it before, and the motion controls is a selling point for me.
Actually I really want this game.
I started playing it around 6 years ago, then I had to move, then I had to sell my PC, then I had no time... etc, etc.
I miss not playing this game back in the day for more than a couple of hours.

I played a lot of call of duty on the Wii, I loved the motion controls, even though the graphics were really crappy. The only reason I bought a Wii U was to play call of duty with motion controls and HD graphics. I'll defiantly be getting a switch if all these great 3rd party games come to it with motion controls.
