Hold START while booting your console, if Decrypt9 is in the chainloader menu, you have it, it was recently updated to work with B9S too
But should I go to this boot9 or whatever you guys are talking about or should I stay on Luma?

Yeah I would highly recomend updating to BS9. https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s it only takes like 20min.
I can go straight from Luma3ds to it right? If I remember there is a a9lh file in the folder that we use to install Luma right?
Just did section III and configured Luma but now all I get is a black screen with a bunch of error messages and it says in red AN exception has occured
Exception type: data abort
EDIT: Got past the parts III and IV but I'm stuck now at
Section V - Installing Luma3DS Updater
The 3ds won't boot it gives the black screen with the error codes.

I seem to have godmode9. Should it be doable? (the github link on method 3 suggest I use it so I dont know)

Go into Luma/payload on your sd card. You can backup your godmode9.firm, but you need to erase it, if you do not wanna keep Decrypt9 after the inject then put the godmode9.firm back into the payload folder. I put the Decrypt9.bin/.firm into the luma/payload folder after erasing the gm9.firm. Cold boot+ start booted into decrypt9 instead of godmode9.

Got it working overnight, I went to the 3ds hacks discord and they helped me. Finally solved it. Thanks to God hahaa

Yes if you have a hardmod. But it is almost impossible to brick if you just got the cfw ban.
