Homebrew 002-0102 Is unban impossible?

The ban is server-side, so it can't be lifted. But it can be shifted.
(Pro-tip: Don't buy a used 3ds/2ds/n3ds system without knowing the owner. Or eat a pie from someone who mysteriously lost a lot of weight recently.).
Basically, take an identifying file from an unbanned 3ds, switch it with that of your banned 3ds, and congratulations, Nintendo thinks your banned 3ds is the unbanned one. Until you accidentally tip your hand and get that seed banned, then you have wasted a seed.

(also I don't know why I decided to quote you in particular) I have an old 3DS that, as far as I know, is unbanned. It has been disassembled for almost a year now I believe. I'd be more than happy to give away the seed or whatever it is if someone could help me rebuild it, since I already have two other 3DSs. But of course since it's disassembled I really have no idea if it's banned, I do have most (if not all) of the parts though. It's 'still' running menuhax.

Anyone wanting to get unbanned should wait a while.
Let banwave pass, and see if the devs find a way to bypass detection or some other fix to be sure you don't get banned again. Otherwise you just wasted the seed.
Yes. People is getting awfully impatient
We should wait at least 2 weeks. By now, the worst we can lose is access to the Pokémon Bank, and even with that, if the subscription expires there's still several months before the content is deleted. We can actually wait.
I still thoroughly believe that EmuNAND/RedNAND can solve this problem. If one NAND has all of the custom software and said NAND has no internet connections set up, then there's no way the other NAND would be able to send that data to Nintendo, especially considering Emu/RedNAND are sandboxed environments.

Does the file you need had to come from the same model? Does it work if you take the seedcode from an o3d to an n3ds?
Nintendo would still see the console connecting to their servers for online play though right?

They share the friend code so this won't have the effect that you're thinking. When one is banned, so is the other. If you get a donor friend code for one, then it'll only last as long as it takes for Nintendo to sniff out that it is a modified system (however they do that) and ban it. Then you'll need another friend code, etc. No different to just using sysNAND.
Dont go running out and buying 2DS XL's at the moment, just wait. You dont need to be playing Pokemon or Smash online.
Wait for an official response from AuroraWright, SciresM or someone else with a definitive reason as for why the bans happened, then look into buying another FriendSeed.
People will start selling them, and if you dont want to pay or split it with friends or something, just find a public one.
