So by judging the comments I assume that medicat DVD on the Mega server is not working because of the corrupt 007 file?
If not then can anyone confirm that medicat dvd on the MEGA server is working. Thanks.

I just downloaded it right now for the umpteenth time and I got an MD5 of 246d7df01dc4ad487ebedca5de338057.
The MD5 is supposed to be E4E108212816BEED9EA9364C65711A7B. So it won't extract using winrar or 7zip. 7zip does produce an iso but you can't mount it so pointless either way. Save your bandwidth till it's fixed. People telling you it's fixed are mistaken or lying.

Cannot extract form medicat DVD 7z files, it not working from both google and mega.
On the mega, all MD5 hashes are correct.
If you have the correct parts files, please use QuickPar or MultiPar to make recovery files from them.
So that we can fix only the error in the right file, and do not need to download the entire file from the server.

I'm uploading the ISO to mega first. It's just 1 .7z file this time. (Probably how I'll do it from now on.)
I'll test out the download for you once it's finished uploading but just remember most mega users either have no account or a free account so assuming the file size is above 7GB you won't be able to download the one entire file without having to wait for the download period to finish, I think it cuts free users off for an hour after they reach 5GB but not sure on the amount.

I fortunately use megadownloader 1.7 so limits don't apply to me.

I'm also testing my uploads, and downloading them, extracting them, and comparing hashes again to the files I uploaded. If they match, they'll work. I'm not sure why the other files have problems and mismatched hashes... Could be the beta aversion of 7zip I'm using, could be mega fucking up my uploads, I have no clue.

What bowser you using with Mega, Chrome should be fine but others might not play too nicely, I've got no empirical evidence to back that up just call it a hunch.

Hey @Jayro I was hoping, that if you upload the entire medicat dvd in one file, then can you please add it to a torrent server. Most people like myself are low on bandwidth and it would be the fastest and safest option anyways

If you add it to torrent it relies on someone always seeding it. Also depending on your torrent and settings you will inevitably upload while you download so you'll end up using more bandwidth with the torrent as opposed to mega or Google drive. Just my two cents.

I like the par files idea that protects against corrupt downloads.

Hey @Jayro - do you have any tips for preventing PC disaster ?
How about a thread to help avoid the need for Medicat.

How about a thread to help avoid the need for Medicat.

Get a UPS for a PC, Tripplite is apparently a good brand.
For software
Advanced Systemcare helps keep your pc fast like the day you installed your OS.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware helps protect against, well malware.
Windows Defender for a antivirus is good and that's what I use but the CIA hates Comodo so that might offer extra piece of mind.
For Browser I use Chrome, addons are important here. Ublock Origin prevents ads and Poper stops popups both can be malicious to your pc.

Keep dust out your pc, you can invest in canned air but it's expensive over time, rather invest in a Metro ED500 DataVac 500-Watt 120 volt 0.75-HP Electric Blower Duster, that will help keep your pc dust free.

Do all this and situations where you need MediCat or similar will be few and far between.
