Solidus Snake Voice Actor Has Passed Away
John Cygan, the voice actor best known for his role as Solidus Snake, has passed away at 63 after a long battle with cancer. He died on Saturday at his home in Woodland Hills according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition to Metal Gear Solid 2, he also portrayed characters in games like Final Fantasy XV, Mafia III, World of Warcraft: Legion, and Grand Theft Auto V. His work weren't restricted to video games either for he voiced characters in several Pixar films and played roles in TV shows like The X-Files as well.
But for gamers, he will probably be remembered through his portrayal of Solidus Snake:
