That link is just a translation for the script of the game.

The game is (or was) being worked to be patched by Kajitani-Eizan, but nowadays (as the game got released in Vita) the project is on hold :(

this script is most likely still much better than that laughable translation of the Vita version.

i bought it on psn, worst localization of any tales game, it is horrid at times.
i wish they gave us the nds patch, as it looks so great in 2dish.

ToHR is good too, but i am certain i would way more prefer the localization of those guys over the one from ToHR that looks like some google translate at times.

I thought the worst game in the saga was Tales of the Tempest. By the way, if the English localization of the Vita port was so awful, I don't know why it wouldn't be possible to continue with the DS translation. And if it ends up affecting the sales of the vita port, then FUCK THEM. Sould have done a good work with the port instead of butchering the DS original.

True I forgot about tempest but I personally think tales of heart isn't that bad I was going by hearsay

Tales of Hearts R is actually one of the best recent Tales out there. The newer ones try to break away from the formula too much (I own all Tales games, so I'm talking out of personal opinion).
Regarding a translation, there won't be one since the remake of the game got an official release. While the translation isn't exactly the best, it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. It does suck that they changed the names though (kinda confusing hearing one name and reading another).

The translation is not that bad, but it is kind of odd to hear the voices not match with the text.
It is like they rushed through translating it.
The translations like that seem to happen a lot with the PS Vita games that Bandai Namco publishes.
I think that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's translation was not that great either,

Hollow Fragment was a different thing entirely. It was localized by Bandai SEA, and after that one their translations have improved drastically. For example, SRW V, had a pretty good translation, although it had a few typos it is understandable since the game has a massive amount of text and was released in the same day as the Japanese version.

Well, that is nice to know I suppose.

I think it's fair to say that at this time a DS translation of ToH isn't going to hurt the Vita version in the slightest. So why not go ahead and finish the last little bit of the translation and release it for all the fans of the DS version? I mean it would make more since than allowing all the work that went into the project so far to be a waste. Maybe that's just me. I don't like to start something and not finish it. I t makes me feel like I have failed myself.

I am really interested in this version of the game. Is it possible to use save sates and have the menu stay translated through out the game? The demo patch 1 I mean. Or is there a way to just keep the menu translated in english. Im sure the translation team had their reasons to block saving/loading but is there a workaround?
