Homebrew [Question] Is there any way to capture the Wii U screen without a capturing card?

redNAND exists for this purpose. You can even swap redNAND's files and see if it boots.

Yahhh i never liked rednand but to be honest but i dont know much about it yet sooo... is there any downside in using rednand? Any performance drop or longer boot or load time ? Does the rednand actually launch at boot, or though HL? When using rednand, is it possible to install haxchi coldboot on the rednand or is it still gonna be in the main nand since its the system config?

...that too. Lol, I like it as well, for the most part but seeing as hardware wise, the switch is basically a handheld Wii U I hope someday we can do the same things on both.

Download vmware or use virtual box becuase I'm pretty sure vmware costs money, get a Windows iso using a product key, (or don't

) then setup a machine in either software using that iso. Virtualbox only supports Windows x32 so if your using that don't get a x64 iso, get a x32 or x86.

VMWare has free version for non-commercial use, he wants to have Linux VM

redNAND boots from Mocha CFW with redNAND option set to ON or CFW Booter.
You don't need to install CBHC in redNAND, it's useless.

DRC-Sim only works on Linux so yeah. He needs Linux for that.

You can boot into Mocha CFW [redNAND ON] or CFW Booter [redNAND fw.img] using CBHC, so yeah. Just press Home button on "Autobooting..." message
