Random trivia: the creator of ZZT, Tim Sweeney, is the force behind the Unreal Engine.

I used to use this back when I was like... 10 and 11. XD I might still have the game files I made way back then too somewhere. Heh. This is awesome.

The screen is all messed up when it comes to the text boxes... This makes me sad... Oh wells, hopefully in some later versions it will fix the text boxes...

I'm experiencing a lot of freezes. I'm using a SupercardLite. The game usually freezes when I try to save the game and if it doesn't, it freezes soon afterwards. I've also encountered other random freezes. The text on top isn't formatted correctly and it's impossible to bring up the keyboard to type in commands when not in a dialog box. Also, the shooting doesn't work as advertised on the top screen. Instead of having to press A and then a direction, you just press A. This leads to wildly inaccurate shots.

I would love if the screens were switched and the commands (Torch, Save, Quit, etc..) were on the bottom (and possibly touch controlled). Then, we can have the dialog boxes on the bottom and have the game on top so we can still see the game while being able to read the dialog boxes. The only problem that might bring up is if you want to bring up the keyboard while the dialog boxes are up, but when the keyboard is brought up, the dialog box could switch to the top screen. It would be much easier to scroll through dialog boxes with the stylus as well as picking options and files. The touch screen isn't used at all as a touch screen right now anyway. And, cosmetically, the top screen on the DS usually has a clearer and sharper picture.

For me, it's unplayable. I'm only bringing up these problems because I would love for some of this to be seen. Any other game I didn't care about I would just stop playing and delete.

I've tried Chism's SupercardSD DLDI Driver. Selecting "Start a ZZT Game" does nothing. It can't call the directory listing.
I've tried Moonlight's SupercardSD DLDI Driver. This driver can call the directory and everything works fine except for the freezing. Unable to save.
I've tried the SupercardLite DLDI Driver and have yielded the same results as Moonlight's driver.
