New 3DS C-Stick replace with a PSP stick

Well, hello all!
All this like tittle say :D
Here where I find it and gonna copy all of it here :)

For the longest time gaming handhelds did not have a second analog stick, making certain games a pain to control (shooters) and 3D camera control impossible. Sony decided to fix this on the PS Vita by adding a second stick. Nintendo dragged its feet a lot longer, but eventually came up with the C-Stick, which is a nub, not a stick.

Not everyone likes the C-Stick on the New 3DS and New 3DS XL. It doesn’t allow for much movement, can become uncomfortable to use during extended play, and apparently oils can build up in it making it more difficult to use. However, there’s a surprising solution to the problem, and it comes in the form of the analog stick cap found on a PSP-1000.

The realization this works came via an experiment by Ryan Hirsch who detailed the installation on Reddit. The C-Stick nub just pops out using the tip of a screwdriver. Then the PSP analog stick cap can be placed over the hole and with a bit of pressure pops into place. It actually sits a little lower than the C-Stick nub, so causes no issues when the 3DS is closed.

Obviously, there’s a risk you could damage your 3DS by attempting this, but it looks easy enough. If you’re not happy with the C-Stick then why not, right? Replacement PSP stick caps can be picked up for a couple of dollars, and I’ve seen replacement C-Stick caps for $10. So it’s not exactly an expensive experiment to conduct.

BUT WAIT! Don't cut your old c-stick.....Its way too easy to just unscrew the back plate remove the screws securing the c-stick module and simply pop the rubbery thing off.. :P!!!

No need to change :)

Such a change is not needed, that is true, but it may be preferential. I could see how someone may find the PSP stick to be more comfortable than the N3DS C-stick, if either method works, I see no reason to tell someone not to do this if that's what they'd prefer. Frankly my C-stick has gotten a bit unresponsive when I try to push it to the right, I'm thinking I may give this a try.

C-Stick sucks balls to be honest, I thought it would be great before I picked up a New 3DS XL.
I was wrong, but its not like the PSP analog nub is gonna be any better, since it still uses the same 'analog'

What a problem? Don't use it, that's all :)

I already don't, but I'm not gonna cut it anyways.
No one tell you to do this, why come here and say it? :)
When did I said that I did it?
You're getting defensive for no reason buddy.
I not said that you did this, I say why you even come here and say that you wont do this?
Nobody tell you to do this and nobody force you :)
If you not, then not. If yes, then yes.
And you can get rubber without cuting.

Because if I'm not like MH games then I would not go there and post that I would not play them anyway.
Simple, right?)

I'm well aware that you can just remove it by disassembling it, again this isn't news.

:rolleyes:Man, choose already what you want :teach:
I would remove the rubber nub altogether by clipping it out of its own circuit board.
Afterwards I could apply the PSP nub, it isn't that hard to be honest.
That video you posted is just a waste of money because if you wanna get the nub back, you'll have to buy a replacement nub.

I wouldn't, but for people who are interested in doing so might be useful don't you think?
