Homebrew [Release] DSP Dump

Sorry for reviving this thread but, is anyone having trouble trying to launch this? I'm using HB Launxher loader with the latest hax and when I select the aplication, the console crashes with red screen in the bottom screen.

I have been able to successfully run DSP Dump with *hax 2.8 via the HBLauncher loader (just tested it for myself now).

That's weird, I tried reinstalling the .Cia, deleting the payload from the SD card and even downloading again the boot.3dsx from the Homebrew Launcher web, but it is still not working :/

I'm not aware of this breaking, though I'm unfamiliar with the 2.8 changes. But if it is broken, then it needs to be fixed in ctrulib too. Are you able to run any 3dsx game with DSP sound successfully (like ScummVM 3dsx or something)?

Tried opening ScummVM using Pokemon Sun, crashed with the bottom screen at red and bugged top screen

Hmm, you try Rinne's dumper? http://rinnegatamante.it/DSP_FirmDump.rar

If that also fails, then there may be something wrong with payload.

dont know why neither yours or ScummVM aren't working

Well, his is unfortunately not open source so I can't compare to see differences to help figure out the problem.

Check one more thing by trying to run the ndsp example. I'll attach it.

the streaming.3dsx worked, and also I tried your dsp dumper and now it is working... the weird thing is that ScummVM is still not working.

i was able to dump it using the same setup on my o3ds, and just copied the file over... neither your or rins dumper worked, actually.. i think all .3dsx homebrew crashes it

Now that I recall, same thing was happening to me, I tried his, then rinne's dumper and neither worked (1 day ago) then tried again today and still didn't worked, then tried with rinne's dumper and it worked right after. Something interesting to note is that the icon of both dumpers weren't showing on the HB launcher but then they showed after rinne's dumper worked.

Not sure, but I know that 3dsx and the *hax payload isn't very stable. :hateit:

Hello I'm just wondering how would I go about using DSP for retroarch .Cia? I have used this app from my 3ds but done a dump been searching for hours for how to make it work in retroarch as file does not show up, saw OP that it doesn't not work on Cia format homebrew, haha dumbass no wonder i couldn't find it in retroarch. duh.

So anyhelp for getting dsp to work in retro arch ? would be most appreciate

I feel like Plailect as well as most people are trying to distant themselves from theCruel and is programs. Only a few homebrew titles used the dps dump, one of them being draw attack, one of his games.

It is needed for some apps such as Freeshop or twloader to output audio.
