Do you have to do anything special to get the homebrew channel to read my apps folder on my usb drive?
I have 2 primary partitions. 1 that has all my games and another with my apps, loader files, covers, etc. Everytime I pull my SD card and run the homebrew channel it tries to scan my card, doesn't find one and goes back to the wii menu. What am I missing?

Has anyone tried using a Drobo V2 as an enclosure? There is no information in the wiki and only one (irrelevant) result came up for the search term, 'Drobo'. I would want a single FAT32 partition with the following data stored on it:

A. .wbfs Wii games (for USB Loader)
B. VC and WiiWare titles on emulated NAND (for TriiForce)
C. My entire collection of GoodMerged GoodSets and NDS ROM collection (for emulators)

Would each set of data be accessible in the following scenarios (with reference to http://drobo.com/resources/drobocalculator.php ):

1. A Drobo with 4x2TB HDDs, providing a total of 5.5TB available protected storage space
Create a smaller than maximum allowable FAT32 partition size (say, 1.5TB) with the remaining (i.e. 4TB) formatted as NTFS.

2. A Drobo with 4x1.5TB HDDs, providing a total of 4TB available protected storage space
Create the maximum allowable FAT32 partition size of 2TB with the remaining 2TB formatted as NTFS.

Thanks,

Nick

I dont have the slightest idea what you are talking about.

In case you want to change the active partition on ubuntu try cfdisk or fdisk.

Thank you!

But on a Wii U is possible to partition a external hard drive?

Party in FAT32 (to use with the GeeXboX) and part in WBFS (for use with USB Loader)?

I wish I could help, but I only softmod regular Wii's, and I don't own a Wii U

Go to the Wii U section and post a thread there. Considering this is the Wii forum, it's a tad bit inappropriate :glare:

Good luck with everything! People are very knowledgeable and helpful on this forum, so I'm sure your answer will come soon.
