Homebrew Want to try out the "sorting" app, but does it sort the folders, the way you want it to?

Is there a save manager for Wii U? I use one on the 3DS to manage two towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

the best u can do is placing the save on a usb stick, but u won't have access to it unless it's connected to ur wii u. plus, games migrate with saves.

Nintendo has devoted time and resources towards stopping u from owning every game on the system once the system is inevitably hacked. :P

This is so annoying that the save data can't be on all accounts or have an option for it.
The system allows for both common saves and unique saves. Common saves are available on all accounts. If the developer thinks that the progress should not be tied to an individual, they'll put that progress into Common. Nintendo should not provide a way for you to make your little brother a level 60 whatever just because you are one.

I don't have any kids and me and my sister are in our late 20s and early 30s.

I just want to move my eShop save data to another account because each account is the only way to use custom layouts on separate USB drives without messing up the game icon and folder layouts, similar to what the 3DS does with the home menu layouts. Account #2 will have the eShop and Wii U games, while account #3 will have the Wii games. My eShop save data is on account #1, which uses all VC games, on the Wii U's internal drive (32GB), I have to move the VC games to an external drive (My 32GB one) because it interferes with the way I want separate layouts on my USB devices, thanks to the stupid 292 game limit! The 128GB one has the Wii games and the 64GB one has the eShop and Wii U games.

Whenever I go into data management, the eShop games have my username for the save data and it even creates another one for the other account. This happened when I booted up some VC and eShop games, using another account. For example, SM64 had new files, instead of the saved ones from account #1 and it didn't resume where I left off. The save data was not present and it created new saved data, but my old data still exists on my prime account, thank God! I just need a way to get account #2 to access my eShop data from the 64GB drive, without losing any saved data. Some homebrew app for managing saves would be nice. That's how I was able to restore my "corrupted" Pokemon R/B/Y VC saves and manage two different towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS.

"You" and "Your little brother" were intended to be representative of the typical individual accounts on a shared Wii U, not your specific case. I'm sorry that you found that writing style incomprehensible. My point was that Nintendo can't provide a feature which would allow someone to copy their saves to someone else.
it even creates another one for the other account. This happened when I booted up some VC and eShop games, using another account. Of course it did. I already told you that the first step in copying a save from one account to the another was to create a new save under the new account. You can't use FTP or Saviine to copy data into a save that doesn't exist.
I just need a way to get account #2 to access my eShop data from the 64GB drive, without losing any saved data.
And I gave you two ways to do that. You need to read the Saviine thread and understand how that works. Dump your saves from your original ID and inject them into the new one.

I hope you have good luck with getting the saves migrated to the new ID and that this all works out the way you wanted. Take care.

I'm gonna try this right now. I need to move my VC games to the 32GB flash drive first, right? I can't keep them on my internal memory or else the other games won't show up.

Transferring all of my 276 VC games to my 32GB USB drive. I hope everything goes well!

Update 1: Took me a little over an hour, but now all 276 VC games are now on my 32GB and I'm only using the internal drive for game saves from Wii U discs.

Update 2: Got all 3 devices with games. Now all I need to do is inject my Wii U and eShop saves using Saviine. Freedom Planet and Mutant Mudds Deluxe already had my saves on the new account.

Update 3: Need help getting Saviine to work. I have no idea what to do. It tells me to set up an IP address and if I try to launch it, it sends me to Mii Maker, instead.

I only knew him from this thread and a few others regarding "collecting" all eshop games. instead of just accepting the limitations, he was making it unbelievably hard on himself, and us as well, to circumvent them.

Man, if only you saw the "FUCK NINTENDO" thread made by him....
Also he used to attack people on here and believe me, they really tried to help him.

I lost all my respect for this dude. He was okayish before he started this crap.
