For anyone curious, there is indeed new software updates available. Since this thread hasn't updated them in some time, I figured I'd link people to it. http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/download.htm
Apparently all of the new versions have been fixing bugs for a new revision of the DSTWO that introduced a few problems. I went ahead and linked to the latest version that you uploaded in the OP.

So, the latest firmware is still 1.25? My micro sd just died, so I have to install everything againX) Ugh...
As far as I can tell, yes it is.

Something weird is going on with my SC DSTwo and DS games: I had cheats enabled for games, but now it is not displaying any cheats at all for DS games... I have a few questions:

1. Where does the Usercheat file go in my mSD card (Directory structure)?
2. Where can I get latest Usercheat file?

Thoughts/help appreciated :)

So I've been reading back a couple of pages; does EOS DSTWO_v1.14_2015_0722_eng work on original DSTWO and does it actually do anything? The only different file seems to be system7.dat

Assuming I have the DSTWO with the latest firmware (1.25) and EOS (1.14) (still need to update to the latest fw and EOS actually), and I purchase the latest New Nintendo 3ds XL, it would presumably have the latest fimrware installed (11.0+). If it does, would I not be able to use the DSTWO to play Nintendo DS (not 3DS) games? And if the console comes with an older system menu version installed (say 9.0), what would I be missing out by not updating the console to the latest version?

If it matters I have an NDSL, and thinking of purchasing the NN3DSXL.

Thanks a lot.

Created a thread as I think this sticky is dead now.

Recently I bought a SuperCard DS-Two Plus 4in1 and to my surprise not only does it work on my DSi XL but also on my updated New 3DS XL, it's awesome.

Then I learned that you can run 3DS Roms 'Gateway 3DS' with it too and I was excited, I downloaded some Roms and was to try them out, I followed this tutorial but it doesn't seem to work, I installed the GateWay Pluggin, I click on it, it starts normally then I choose "New 3DS" and I let it install, I hit "Home" (system is still on) then I go to "Settings/Other Settings/Profile/Nintendo DS Profile" but instead I get the normal stuff "name/color" what am I doing wrong?

P.S. DS Roms and other emulators run fine on my 3DS.

Edit: Also I'm searching for a nice Sonic The Hedgehog skin to use with it :P

Edit 2: I have a couple more questions...

Are there any downsides for using it with my 3DS? Like brick for the console or the flashcard? Cause I have a DSi XL that I could use instead but I liked having one console doing all and having an analog stick as an option.

What's the best formatting method? FAT/Fat32/exFAT/NTFS...etc and can I use a 64GB HDSC with it? Thank you.

Is there a way to get the GBA emulator to work better? I wanted to play Sonic Advance 2 the other day but the third level struggles to run and crashes a lot due to poor emulation, wtf?

Now I kinda feel bad for trading my Ez Flash 3in1 to get a SuperCard DSTwo just so I could play GBA games on a bigger screen.

did you up your cpu speed to 396Mhz in the tempGBA options menu ?

To format your 64go sd you can use SDFormatter & FAT32 FORMAT :

1. Use FAT32 FORMAT to format your sd in fat32
2. Use SDFormatter to reformat your sd once again with these settings :
format type full (overwrite) & format size adjustement off

SDFormatter was very useful for me because it seems to be the only way to keep TempGBA alive on my 64go configuration, I never try 128go sd, I'll try soon, but normally it should work.

Sorry for late respond, I'll test that and see, about formatting the SD I can test with another "smaller" SD at the moment, I don't have time to move my entire collection of games back and fourth to test the format method, also I believe my SD is either 32 or 64 GB formatted to FAT32 32 cluster.

Sorry for double quoting/posting, I followed the guide to properly format another SD card I have (4GB) and tried 3 different Roms for Sonic Advance 2 (US/JAP/EU) with TempGBA and they all gave me the same results, running really slow in the third level (music level) and game crashes completely if you bring up the pause menu.

I tried another GBA emulator I heard about, NDSGBA, but I can't get into the title screen because it uses a buggy version for MGBA that doesn't read the start of both Sonic Advance 1&2 properly but instead gives you this broken multiplayer screen on start up, this could be fixed if I could enable the use of Bios but it doesn't seem the emulator supports it, Sonic Advance 2 is unplayable with TempGBA, all 3 regions, who marked it green in the compatibility list?

Hi Sonictopfan, no problemo for the delay & the double quote, it does not matter at all, sorry I made a mistake, I did not realize that on my side I had already tested sonic advance 1 & 2 and that these two games do not work with TempGBA, I had made a list of gba games that did not work on a notebook and checking this list I just saw that sonic advance 1 & 2 were on it, the only sonic games that work for me with TempGBA are sonic gba, sonic advance 3 and sonic genesis, but I have not finished them so I can not confirm that the games are working in their entirety.

About NDSGBA, I'm not sure about that but I think it's an old version of TempGBA so it's not really surprising if it does not work, did you try GBARunner2 ?
It's a new gba emulator, I didn't try it and it's quite new so I think the compatibility list is short for the moment but you can follow the topic about it and ask to the guy who made it here is the link where you can find it : https://gbatemp.net/threads/gbarunner2.451970/

And nothing to do with a gba emulator but I read that you just bought a dstwo+, so if you don't already know a new mame emulator came out recently, it's Final Burn Alpha, it's really cool, I made a topic about it, you can find it here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/fba4dstwo.461008/

Is this the most up to date guide on the DSTWO+? I recently received mine and would like to update it and set it up with my NDS Lite.

Even after downloading the latest DSTWO+ EOS v1.14 and Firmware v1.25. I followed the instructions step-by-step on how to initially set up my DSTWO+, but it is not
detecting the upgrade file so I can't continue and press A to upgrade..

This is another guide I have been following as well. When I insert the flashcard and turn on the power, it boots normally (I select DS_GAME) it boots the OS and detects my SDHC 32gb card
but when I hit "start" and "help" is states DSTWOMENU 1.11.

I read this on the other guide I have been following, not sure if it means anything.
"Step 4: Find a DS console (NDS\DS\DSLite\DSi\3DS) which can run this EOS system, if you have the latest version console can not run EOS system, sorry, you have to find one."
Does this affect me?

@Terminator02 @Lacius, I thought you may be able to add your input on this if you can.

Is there a way to recover from the DSi giving the "An error has occurred" screen to the SuperCard DSTwo+ after running the GW Simulator v1.05 update? If not, is there a location to purchase another SuperCard DSTwo+ online? Could we please resurrect ShopTemp?

I have never ran the Gateway exploit, I recommend you format the SD card and add everything back in fresh and clean, hopefully that will fix it.
