I updated to 11.3 without realizing that it would forever f*ck over Decrypt9 and I'm not sure if I want to go back to braindump.
Sorry 'bout that. Recently I've updated to 11.3 knowing that it wasn't going to mess up my ability to mod my games and use CFW after I did the whole process, but I didn't know that it apparently disables Decrypt9 (so I've heard). I've had some issues with braindump dumping my games in the past and I don't want to have to go and download it again in case I get errors about the dumping process being incomplete. A small excerpt from the instructions to use Dio Vento's ROM hacks for sun and moon:

- Dump and decrypt your cartridge or eShop copy of Pokémon Sun or Moon (Must match the version of the romhack) using Decrypt9WIP.
Does that make it a little more clear to understand?
I still have the a9lh folder and the arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of my SD card. Homebrew just doesn't have safehax or fasthax anymore.

Then you should be using Decrypt9 as a Luma payload, not from the Homebrew Launcher. Download Decrypt9, move the .bin to your luma/payloads folder, then follow this: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Other-features-and-notes#payload-chainloading

how fast is decrypt9 compaired to braindump and, How can I dump only moon from my 3ds and not every title on my 3ds??
Both take fairly long depending on how big the game in question is. Braindump is fairly simple in what game you want to dump, but to my knowledge it dumps an romfs_. Decrypt9 can do a bit more than that but you have to go somewhere in content dump options.
There are two versions of braindump, one that dumps the exefs and romfs and one that dumps to .cxi, which you then need to extract further to get the exefs and romfs.
I did not know that there were two versions. The one I've been using must have been the first one you've mentioned.

did that but, my 3ds fails to open aeskeydb.bin... its really stressing me out... I really want to randomize my game and edit the text...
First of all, calm down. There's no need to get stressed out because it's not the end of the world. Second of all, what do you mean by it fails to open it?
