I didnt link to the talisman editor since i was already on GBAtemps. But @Kibido posted a link to it. It does trigger antivirus software but i still think its safe judging from the comments and that it has been around for a while. I have not used it personally since i have an easier time using my hex editor.Thank you for the mhxx editor link. Could you post talisman editor downloas link too?
When attempting to edit an item, I get this error: "VbStrConv.Wide and VbStrConv.Narrow are not applicable to the locale specified"
However, using the X:Y~Z format works but not single item editing.
Thank you all for your patience.
when i try using jk save manager to export my save file on mhxx, it gives me the following error, "Error opening save archive" can someone please help me?
Is there a difference from the previous ones?
The cheat coder pretty much just mass edits your save file. You use the a coder to generate the codes that edits the save. Here is a download link:Yes, it now has equipment editing and cheat codes. No idea how those work though. If you've had trouble with the game freezing for DLC items I'm sure you can get rid of them now.
when i use the editor, and save and quit, it gives me a system(current date).bak file, what do i do after? to make it into the system file. The cheat coder pretty much just mass edits your save file. You use the a coder to generate the codes that edits the save. Here is a download link:

The editor automatically makes back ups. If you dont want it, then just delete it.h

So does it automatically replace the system file for me? With the new and edited one?The editor automatically makes back ups. If you dont want it, then just delete it.

What I mean is, so say I use the editor to change my name, and I click save and quit, does it replace the old system file with the new/edited one? It's just an additional file, ignore it unless you need a backup. Your System file is still there.
