i'm trying to get the nxe dashboard running on my jtag simlar to how the 1888 dash files can be run with the dash.xex. i downloaded the 7371 full dashboard files from digiex and extracted them. i got a bunch of xexp files which seem to correspond to match up to the 1888 dashboard files. i patch the xexp files with xextool removing all the restrictions, but i tried patching the 1888 dash files with them it gives me an error.

what do i need to do to get the the files patched?

I might not be the best person to ask about this but I believe the only reason 1888 boots directly from a compiled file is because it's just the base kernel every Xbox 360 has and therefore can run straight from memory? I was thinking just flash your nand to 7371 but that might be more effort than it's worth.

For what it's worth, I never saw any other dashboard revisions than the original floating around that can just direct load.

You can change the LDV of a NAND you build, try creating a 7371 NAND with the LDV of whatever dash you got now.

Don't blame me if you end up bring bricked and have no means to hardware flash.
