I don't see the fb alpha neo core in pcms. Only fb alpha and fb alpha cp2 or whatever, is it just the fb alpha one with fba as path

It's in the extra modules folder. I'm using it as well for neo geo games. Must also have bios_template with neo geo zip installed as a module.

NES Mini Folders.jpg

I created some new folders using a SMB3 theme with mystery boxes found in the game and a SMB3 font for the letters and symbols. Hope you enjoy!

You can download them here: https://mega.nz/#!409QDLaK!0C-9fTipBGqDvjb8--BfUuwPL0Y1u1cLWZPZ5oXfM6k

If the link doesn't work just copy and paste it into your browser.

hi guys,

i'm still on 2.13 and recently tried updating additional game and 'rom size too big' warning came out (for ridge racer 64). it had not previously done this i.e. i've previously successfully uploaded the game, and this occur only after i tried adding some more n64 games (rogue squadron, ocarina of time, mario kart - only OOT was also more than 30mb, like ridge racer). the storage capacity indicates i've used less than 200mb.

any ideas? thanks.

What did you do to fix it? That's weird this is happening.. maybe one of you guys can examine the files using clovershell and see if there's a huge file sitting on the NESC.

This is like the issue I tell to Cluster I have also in RC3-5, I send him 2 hakchi2 2.14b debug with the log and all hakchi2, but sometimes it's random ... I'm sure that he's working on it to solved it.

I didn't really fix it I guess I just deleted NFL blitz 2000 and 2001 cause they weren't working very well and then added the neo geo hmod and fbalphaneo hmod and then synced and it uploaded fine and game works. But if I add both blitz games I bet it won't work again.

just occured to me: i've got folder organization on auto and i'm thinking it could be fixed by customizing the folders to ensure roms that are large are in their own separate folders. i'm away from my NES so cant test this for now.

I also think that. Haven't used custom yet. Just auto. Cause so few games.

The way I turned blood on in MS1 is I went into Retroarch and I had to find the "soft dip settings", once you find that you have a blood option to turn on/off

I used this video to help (even though our layout is different). The pain was figuring out how to find the soft dip settings.

I went into the RA menu by pressing SELECT+START+L+R, I forgot exactly what I did but I remember there was a setting at the TOP that said something about
test mode.. I think I went into that.. then you exit out of the game and back into it and u can edit the soft switch settings.

If you try and still can't figure it out I will try and get you some instructions.

Also to add that if you used at least in MAME2003 minimized from @D_Skywalk (perhaps also in normal 2003 core works but need to config I think) pressing R2(Zr) is the "mame menu" from here you can get to enable dip switches. Pressing B, Y, X, A (I don't remember which button is)
Like I did in this video on the Mini.

I think that with normal controller only you need to change the button for enter in MAME menu to can do.

Has anyone gotten Zelda Ocarina of Time to work? On my system it runs just fine but neither the in-game saves nor the save states work. Also what does xmb_assets do? I was under the impression that it changed the interface style of retroarch but it didn't seem to make a difference.

I used fb alpha neo. I know how to bring settings up in mame just not through fba alpha in retroarch.

Mmmm... Did you check in Quick Menu Options or inputs, the options you have selected?

Also maybe can be in the RA options (in the quick menu are the core options) called configuration If I didn't remember bad.
