Hardware Looking to buy a new 3ds xl

I'm from Asia(Sri Lanka) and looking for an online store to buy it and ship it here. Any suggests? Also does the region matter? I play on buying a sky3ds+ and wondering does the region matter? I saw some at the website play-asia but all of them are JAP versions of the handheld.

Hey mate, better have a look on amazon, since you want to use sky3ds+, the region wont be a problem nor matter anyway.

check play asia? also why pay more for sky 3ds? just hack it to luma cfw for free. there's no way you could brick if you follow every step of this guide 3ds.guide

Oh didn't know you dont need a flashcard anymore. Interesting. Might hold off on the flashcard, thanks for the link. Just need a new 3ds xl

When you do get the system, please do not update it to the latest firmware. Please follow the guide that nero99 linked above, then you can safely update to the latest version.

I would really recommend getting a system in a language you can understand, but anyways: https://3ds.guide/region-changing. Just know that after you finish the guide linked above (not this one), you will be able to play out of region games.

As long as the firmware is below 11.3, you should get custom firmware and ditch the sky3ds+.

No one has given any kind of confirmation that a system has shipped with 11.3 yet, so you should be good.
