Is there a way to install individual forwarder channels for Nintendont or Wii USB Loader GX games to the Wii U home page?

Is it possible to run WiiU/ Vwii / GC (nintendont) / all three from a single SD CARD?

Right now I have to plug in an external HDD in order to play Vwii games with USBLoaderGX, but I would like not to plugin anything extra. Is is possible?

If it is possible, what SD would you recomend me? (send amazon link plz)

I have everything in the one SD card (Loadiine, Wii games, GameCube games...). Any SD card is fine as long as it's legit (don't buy from ebay or third party sellers on Amazon, and check all SD cards you buy no matter what the source with H2testw as soon as you receive them).

Hey Guys...

I have a few questions about everything... But let's start from the beginning... I have a WiiU with moded vWii. If I format the WiiU I'll brick it just because of the mod on vWii?

No. You'll be fine. May have to rehack the vWii. Not sure but you don't need a game anymore to do so. You can use IOSU hack from Wii U to hack the vwii

Will BotW have an update on the disk? Just got a message from EB Games saying I could pick up my preorder tonight or tomorrow morning, I don't even remember preordering it lol. I wouldn't mind having a real copy, but if I have to pirate it to stay on 5.5.1 anyway then there's not a lot of point owning it and not using it.

Update right now, tomorrow 5.5.2 will probably be out. Maybe double check to make sure 5.5.2 doesn't exist (I don't think it does, but it doesn't hurt to be extra sure).

I installed IOSUhax.. it seemed to install ok. I installed the homebrew channel onto the system memory, so it shows now on th main menu. When booting it right away, it loads up fine. When turning off the Wii U and turning it back on; trying to load the HBC app, it brings up an Error Code: 199-999. Is this normal? Does it need to be installed everytime? Is there still more steps to have this work on boot up? Is that what the coldboot is? (I do have the legit Brain Age from the eShop I purchased yesterday). Many thanks in advance!

Ok, forget my prior post... I believe I needs to take a few steps back: What prerequisites are there to install a usb drive to Wii U? Do you just allow it to format it and it's ready? Also, after installing IOSUHAX, then installingthe BC channel and Funkii, would I be able to install a game from it directly on the system memory; provided there is enough storage space?

How does one obtain a fake ticket for the decryption and signature of encrypted game updates, patches, & eShop-only/VC titles? As far as I'm concerned, and I might be completely wrong on this, you can't dump titles purchased from the eShop in an installable format. Because if you could, why even bother with a fake ticket?
Harking back to my first question, I was lead to believe that it's pretty much impossible to "guess" the right decryption key in under a quadrillion years of bruteforcing, so how do we come up with the "fake" keys? Or am I getting this wrong entirely and it's not the key but the signature that is fake (whatever difference there is)?
There must be some general misunderstanding on my side somewhere. I'd be glad if someone could help me out.

You're correct in your understanding. What is needed is a fake ticket for every title. This ticket is usually made and uploaded by people who have the actual disc of the game. Then they rip and upload it to various key and title key sites online. Windows programs like Wii U USB Helper don't work unless you link them to one of these sites. It happens during the install of that program in Windows.

Once the program has been setup you simply get a list of titles that you want to download. In each title Wii U USB Helper will tell you if you need a CFW to play it or not. If you need a CFW to play then that means it's a title that never had a retail disc and therefor doesn't have a valid fake ticket. You don't need a valid fake ticket to play titles on a CFW because with sig patching the Wii U doesn't care if it's a valid fake ticket or not.

Make sense?

Thanks for the reply!

I've been using the Brazilian title install method for a while now. As far as I'm concerned, the tickets obtained from disc dumps are genuine, not fake. I just dumped my copy of Tropical Freeze a few hours ago (disc2app) and there was a title.tik included, which, compared to the one on [a website], seemed legit to me. What exactly do you mean when you say "fake ticket"?

My initial question concerned non-disc titles. When installing a non-disc title (or eShop-only title), you still need to decrypt the files downloaded from your tool of choice. But as we cannot dump the keys for non-disc titles, there should be no possible way (even with an active iosuhax) of decrypting the files. At least that's what I'm thinking.

So my terminology sucks but yeah, you got that right. I say fake because it's not your game. It's a legit ticket.

To your second question I'm not really sure how it decrypts it. I just know that even without a disc version legit ticket you can play eshop titles on CFW. I simply select the game in Wii U USB Helper, it downloads it and then I install. Done. Of course I'm cold booting to CFW.

It's the same reason the Zelda Update requires CFW even though the game itself does not.

One has a legit disc ticket and the update does not

I have a couple of questions and I hope you can push me a little forward.

I have been using what I believe is called the 'Brazilian method'. It seems that there quite a few benefits by using CFW - even though I am a noob.

  1. If I choose the go the CFW route what will happen to the games already installed? Will the still be playable when not in "CFW-mode"?
  2. If I want the install DLC (which I understand is possible when using CFW), do I have to reinstall the games already on my console or can I add the DLC. If so should I first delete the games through the Wii U settings?
  3. If I have to reinstall the games, what precautions should I take considering my game saves?
  4. What do you think would be the best way to utilize game backups considering I am a noob? I am thinking RedNand Mocha etc...
  5. Is it possible to install BOTW using the 'Brazilian method' only?
Thank you in advance.
