Hacking possibly screwed up big. (old3dsxl)

I had a 9.2.0U old3ds xl sysnand
I was tying to setup arm 9 loader hax. since luma3ds cfw seemed to not be working and people said it was even better. Now after putting the old3ds in system recovery mode I then mistakenly updated to 11.3 ( I thought it was brick and panicked). The odd thing is that when I booted up with an sdcard in that has those hacks, it will boot after about 10-15seconds into what appears to be sysnand 11.3 (says it in settings). However when I use no sd card (or a blank sd card) the left power light turns blue then turn fades to black after starting. since I was following 3dsguide this is where I screwed up, by possibly flashing a emunand from before the update to sysnand by picking the wrong file. But then wouldn't it say emu in the settigns menu. confused honestly

is there a way to flash both the sysnand and emunand via homebrew?

update luma3ds, go into FBI and copy the arm9loaderhax.bin to the CTRNAND

how do i go about exucuting homebrew now that i have 11.3 so that i can get to it. its on my sd card now.

Homebrew means software/apps created by devs/normal peeps (not Nintendo) ..what are you trying to do? if you have a9lh/luma your 3ds has custom firmware. why did you want to install CFW in the first place?

ok so with the arm9loaderhax.bin file in ctr nand I can now boot without an SD card. so now do i just install any title that i download and istall it as CIA? I know that because 11.3 is new that it may or may not be able to install certain things. I'm reading and seeing that emunand may not be needed anymore now that the sysnand is "modifed with luma and a9lh"?
nm what i wrote I think i have it but am following the guide so ill leave this up for now in case i still need help

do you have emunand? if you used 3ds.guide you shouldnt have emunand ..get a bigger sd and instal any cia file you want using FBI

i have an emunad still but im afriad if i put the files on and restore that would mess up the currently patched sysnad/luma/a9lh/w/e

its fine no worries thanks for the help you gave though. im not as anxious as i was earlier XD legit custom cias already seem to work now i just need someone to tell me how to restore emunand

so i was able to flash the sysnand to have all of saves and preinstalled games. Now I just have two more question
when i try to update streetpass mii plaza i gt the error code 022-2634. i know this has something to do with NNID and I think the unlinking of nands. is there an easy way to fix this without losing any of my save games (espcially my 567 streetpass tags

)

second, im thinking of getting a new 3ds xl sometime in the near furure. I assume system transfer from the old 3ds to new 3ds will work regardless of the system's firmware?
