Ok so I've edited my shuffle file on 3ds and I was playing with an older version of the game and the editor given me the faculty to change almost everything. What you mean saying "can't edit the game save"?
Another question:there is a method to edit shuffle mobile at hte moment?

Only for the 3DS version as the mobile version is mostly server side so you can't edit the game save.

They can and will ban you on the mobile version if you try anything funny. Been there, done that, learn and move on.

(For 3DS)

I'm confused on some parts. I saved a backup to the save manager (sd card) then edited it (PSSE). DO I THEN SAVE THE EDITED FILE OVER THE ORIGNAL BACKUP?

If not, then I'm not understanding the secure value fixing program. It asks for OLD save and NEW save. Does the OLD save refer to the unedited save or does it refer to the one that is edited? Then how do I know when I can go back to homebrew and import? Which save should I keep on my computer.

Make a copy and put it somewhere safe, if anything goes wrong you just use the original backup, the save over the file in the sd card, then just use JKSV to import it into the game, you don't have to worry about the secure value with that ;)

Is JKSV an add-on to homebrew? Is it a different save manager system?

You only have homebrew right? in any case, yes, even before I had cfw I found JKSV to be the most reliable save manager, the others often crash and for most cases you need to delete secure values, JKSV makes all that on itself

I downloaded something called 3ds save manager that has 3dsx. Should I get rid of this?
Does jksv just need to be put on the sd card? Is jksv viewable from homebrew?

It's the same as save manager, you just put it inside the 3ds folder, it's available and viewable from homebrew, though I believe the 3dsx version is slightly harder to find, but not by much :P

So I need the save manager folder and jksv? So far jksv without the save manger folder doesn't show up on homebrew...

Can I delete the 3dsx file and put jksv in?

Ok it worked thank you . Is it me or does it make the game run slower?

Keep precausiouly the save you edited with PSSE somewhere on your computer. Launch the ame, and agree to delete your savedata when it says it's corrupted. Then play the game normally until you see "Saving..." on the bottom-right corner of the top screen. Then export this new savefile, and use the secure value fixing tool to copy the secure value from this file to the old one. Now restore the first savefile and it should be working again.

Also, once it's done stop using save_manager. Use JK's save manager or svdt, they both patch the secure values automatically so you never have this problem again.

I edited and imported my save and there seems to be a side effect! When I run out of moves, it doesn't t trigger the message that asks if I want to spend jewels to add moves! Is this normal?

I'm not sure if Volcanion was present in the files from the 1.3.36 version of the game : PSSE has built-in files from the v1.3.36 of the game for now, so if Volcanion is present in it you can add him to your party but in-game it will have default type/ability (30BP, normal, Opportunist) because those informations were added in the v 1.3.37 of the game.

Anyway, you can't update your game with PSSE, you need to download the update directly in-game. You shouldn't update to 11.3 yet though, as it patches a lot of useful things. If you have homebrews set up you probably copied smea's starter kit to your Sd card : if that's the case, you can use ctr-httpwn (on of the homebrews in it) to update your game and connect online without updating to 11.3. Basically you just launch it once each time you power up your console and you can use online functions without being on the latest firmware version.

I've been editing my save since nearly the beginning of the game. There are absolutely no problems since most of it is local play. Just make sure you don't beat your highscore in online competitions with a team that includes illegal pokemons (pokemons that you couldn't normally obtain), that's basically the only thing you can get banned for.

I'll look into this, but it's really odd since PSSE should only interfere with stuff inside the savefile, not the gameplay itself. How many jewels/hearts/coins did you have before and after editing ?

As I posted last page the mobile version is a server side game where the saves are stored partly online and the game CANNOT be played offline so there is no way to edit the game save. You can't even backup the save and restore it later as the game will see it as corrupted and will make you start over.

Ummm guys, how do I extract the resource files? I have JKSM and when I extract the ExDate it creates a folder with some files that do not look anything like the one PSSE uses to function. :(

Screenshot of the folder -> Shuffle.PNG

Just update your PSSE it no longer requires the resource files

But how do I update it? The last version of PSSE is for version 1.3.36, I tried to edit it with that one, but the changes that introduced in the version 1.3.37 are deleted, for example the pokemon to which they were raised the level returns to its original level.
