Ohh wow. This gives me a 3rd theory and placement in the fallen timeline where it could take place.
I believe botw takes place in one of three spots to save debating (plus i am getting read to leave for work), i won't go into details in this topic.
The three spots i believe could be though are:
After the timeline split, but right before LTTP. Between the original two NES titles Or right after Z2: TAOL

Let's stop already, in 1 week we're gonna know where it is in the timeline, i know this is killing our nerves, but in Spain we say "Who has waited so long..." meaning it can wait for a bit more, 1 week in this case.
I don't think we will know for sometime after a release. Besides after Oot, these two "monsters" have not been seen again, except in Z2.
Normally, there's an intro on zelda games where it tells you a bit the history, so maybe with that we will know where to put it.
And if the place i bought it does like it did with my xenoblade chronicles x, i'm getting it on thursday, and i'm gonna be glued to the wiiu at last 5 hours (i must sleep a bit, work on friday...)
