If only I had three friends to play with
I'll be your friend

Maybe there's no wifi because people don't generally stay in one 'room' on wifi for more than 10 min. when Mario Parties generally last an hour and a half to 3 hours.

looks sweet...but:
I see no sense in playing a Mario Party game on a handheld in offline multiplayer, when there's 8 different Mario Party games to choose from on home consoles...how often is it that you meet your friends in a place where there's no N64, GC or Wii around?
and as Mario Party is a really time consuming game, it's not the right game to play with your friends on the go, either...it's like starting a game of Monopoly in school, in a train or in a cafe

the minigames are gonna be fun with the touchscreen, though

online wifi would be horrible!!

just like if mario party 8 had online..it would be horrible...

Kids/Players would just walk off midgame because of dinner and what not.... or their mom might be telling them to stop playing...

no game would ever last or finish =="

I loves the Mario Parties!

No idea why all the games journos are getting so uptight about the abundance of minigames on Wii. I love minigames, my friends love minigames and at the end of the day I bought my Wii to have good times with my friends.

In fact, I'm running out to grab Mario Party 8 tomorrow before I get the train up to Preston to watch a friendly football match (against Bamber Bridge, if anyone was wondering

Now this! Mario Party on the move/at friends' houses - YES PLEASE!

I *heart* Ninty.

I see your point, but it's not a port of the Wii game or any of the Cube games. It's a whole seperate game, some people will play both.

Personally, I'll be playing this when my little brother comes up to visit and when my girlfriend comes to my house. The more single-cart, accessible mayhem the better, in my opinion!

great.
But i would have liked a Paper Mario DS a lot more :-)
Wouldn't we all? I'd also prefer Mario Tennis or Golf, or even New Super Mario 2.

Its gonna be a busy November with this Professor Layton, FFXII, DQM Joker, Front Mission, Insecticide, Ultimate Mortal Kombat, Nintendo Magic, Mario & Sonic and theres bound to be tons more.

If this has wifi itll be 1 of the best games out in my eyes, but just being local multiplayer will take it down quite a lot. Would be so much easier and frequent to play my bro and a few m8s from home rather than having to all get together for it. Come on wifiiiiii
