I think it would have to be 2 games that I made sure I got when I pirated them. The first one was new super Mario bros for D's and ninja gaiden dragon sword. I had them on an acekard 2i.

I miss Node99....

1st games.. hmm.. probably one of the original "Damaged Cybernetics" nes "release packs" (I forget)

1st copier game pirated.. Not sure. I had a Mr Backup Z64 (v2).. Bought Mario 64 because you had to.. I do remember going to work and having the (as of yet) uncracked US Zelda64 release on my ISP shell account and while I was at work, some asshole leaked the link to a public distro-list.
(ISP got a nice call from Nintendo and I was looking for a new ISP after that.. (lesson learned)

These days, even with the WiiU USB helper, I pretty much just downloaded the games my kids had that they busted the disks.. I make enough money these days that I buy all our stuff.. (though I refuse to RE-buy them)

In the end, support the developers!

Can't remember the name, but it was a Gundam Wing fighting game for SNES. I seriously think I downloaded it on Napster after I found a decent emulator. Must've been 99-2000, as Gundam Wing was still airing on Toonami.

I don't remember having any bootleg NES or GB carts, but I do remember Snes96 and trying to play roms off floppy disc on what has to have been a shockingly low spec PC in my technology classes at secondary school.

I can't remember the first Ninty game I pirated, but I can tell you the last Nintendo game I purchased. It was Lux-Pain for DS. I purchased it at its brand-new price of $30 for a long car trip, and it was so incredibly bad that, exactly one hour into my car trip, I decided to get into pirating games. Five minutes after getting home from that trip, I placed an order for the newly released Acekard 2i.

Yeah pretty sure it was a bootleg GB cartridge for me too, summat like '128-in-1' where there was about 16 games on a page and the next pages were filled with the same games under a different name! I felt ripped off, which is quite funny thinking back!

As for downloading myself, probably Super Mario Bros for a NES emu, nice small download for back in the 56k days, and felt guilt free as I'd already got the game on my NES... Also remember getting Seiken Densetsu 3 quite early as I heard they'd patched the rom to English - paid 90 fukkin quid for that game on import and got completely stuck: this game was the sole reason I started looking into emulation in the first place.

It was just a multidisk of some SNES games on an emulator for PlayStation 2, titled "Super Mario 4". I bought it circa 2007-8 and then I had NO (I SAY NO) knowledge of Mario series. But who thought that it makes me later (since about 2013) a die-hard Mario (but specially Wario) fan and also pirate? (oh, another characteristic of Wario.)

The games that it had:

SUPER MARIO KART U (U in all of the following ones stand for universal, I think. Seen this in brackets when you download a ROM dump?)
MARIO (it was Super Mario World)
MARIO S EARLY YEARS - PRES U
MARIO S EARLY YEARS - FUN U (... with numbers, eh.)
MARIO IS MISSING U
MARIO S TIME MACHINE U (why so unlucky to have 4 edutainment games in a row?:nayps3:)
SUPER MARIO ALL STARS WO
SUPER MARIO ALL STARS U (you may know the difference.)
SUPER MARIO RPG U (sadly, it was freezing after the title screen.)
SUPER MARIO WORLD U (Why it's so repeated?:nayps3:)
TETRIS DR. MARIO U
YOSHI S ISLAND U
YOSHI S SAFARI U
YOSHI S COOKIE U

P.S.: Ow, I found its cover art also. here it is: http://theisozone.com/covers/ps2/super-mario-collection-usa-dvd-sleeve-ps2/

I don't recall my first pirated first party Nintendo game, but the first foray into emulation was the NES Final Fantasy III played with Nesticle if that counts.

Was it R.C. Pro/Am?

Motor racing, not RC.
All I remember is that it was a straight road which had some turns in it, a city always present on the background, you could fall off your bike and if you did, your pixel character would then "run" to his bike, pick it up and start driving again.

I distinctly remember how it looks but I have no clue on the name.
Played that game ~20 years ago maybe.

Maybe Metroid Fusion for GBA. But when I was a kid I had a program that my uncle got for me that allowed me to play tons of roms, so I don't remember what the first one I played was.
