* Press D-PAD UP to enable and D-PAD DOWN to disable.

Btw you can shorten it by using the KKKK values since the offset is less than 0x7FFF.
30000000 4443BB4C
10000000 47000000
03020000 1F604F4C
00000200 00000000
00120190 7FFFFFFF

00000100 00000000
00120190 00000000
D0000000 DEADCAFE

And the range should be 46000000 - 480000000

Also did you test this? The button activator is independent of 4443BB4C, not a pointer offset of it, so this doesn't look like it would work. It will grab the value at 4443BB4C, and then add 1F604F4C to it

Hello....I have been trying to figure this out for some time....Maybe you can help?

:arrow:I want to press a button and add a value to an existing value....The value is not always the same so I can not just add the values before hand and write them.

This is the activator
03010000 12C45312
00000800 00000000

This is the address with the value I wish to add to.
1147F924 XXXXXXXX

This is the value I want to add every time the button is pressed.
00010000

Thanks for any assistance

First, you should use logical AND for activators unless you want it to be just that button down
09010000 12C45312
00000800 00000000
10020000 1147F924
14040000 XXXXXXXX
11020000 1147F924
D0000000 DEADCAFE

This will add XXXXXXXX onto the current value at 1147F924 with each code execution.

When I use a button activator for my code it is only a one time write and I have to push my button activator again to reactivate. Is there a way to make it a permanent write using a button activator?

You can use an if not statement to make the wii u check if an address has a specific value. If it isn't equal to the value you want to change it to, it will automatically poke the value again.

I've had it with this darn software. This is my 7th time posting about an error on Jgecko. Every time ,in the middle of the scan I get an error like the one you see on the bottom. If my luck is crappy it won't let me back in. This needs more work because as it stands this is just as annoying and buggy as TCP gecko. I don't know what to do but can someone who never has these obsolete errors please either tell me how to fix this or give me the exact files you have. Well appreciated.

Yes, write to a dud address and perform a check on that

For example, let's say 11000080 is normally an 'unused' address and always has 00000000. You can make a code that writes 00000001 to this, and then have the code enabled if this address equals 00000001.

If you have downloaded the latest from :arrow:Github https://github.com/BullyWiiPlaza/JGeckoU and are using the TCPGecko from the JGecko U download TAB....Then it should be working just fine.....You seem to be the only one with issues at the moment.

:!:Make sure on the miscellaneous tab that you have the automatically detect TCPGecko Data Buffer Size checked.....It should change to 5000 after you connect.

:!:Also maybe try this....Right click on JGecko U.jar go to properties and General tab and make sure that the program is un-blocked.

Don't give up!

I have to admit that JGecko U is running VERY well without any issues...:)

I'm about to freaking flip. I'm so pissed off right now I could be registered as a lethal weapon. Even when I update everything it still gives me the damn error. What the hell is going on? Somebody please just give me the exact files they have because it seems that whatever the hell I'm doing right now is wrong and using the damn jgecko that's on git hub doesn't change anything.

BTW thank you JingeBells for all the help. You've done more of it than I've had successful dumps with this frustrating application.

I'm using the latest files. Load them using loadiine.ovh and then homebrew launcher and then tcpgecko. Make sure all ports are open so Jgecko u can connect. and make sure the IP is correct.

Aaaaaand its not letting me connect back after 21 reconnect. Please don't tell me to go download anything or go do another procedure that I've done more than 50 time (not an exaggeration. Yes I counted). Please just give me the exact files you have so i can just use what ever you have

does anyone know how I can search for the Timer in Super Mario Bros U
Pause the game and search for the seconds (1-bit value). Then again, then again until you find the right address. Then memory dump with the filename being the address of the timer. Then do all that again in a different level (because the address for the timer may differ between levels). Then make a BLANK text document named after the first number of the search range (for example, if I found the addresses in range 35000000-49000000, the text document would be called 35000000). Make sure the only files in the folder are the dumps and the text document. In JGecko U, in the "external tools" or whatever it is tab, click on pointer searcher. Tick "allow pointers in pointers" at the top and then click "add". Tick "parse folder" and browse to the folder with the dumps and the text document. Then click "search". Load a random level OTHER THAN THE LEVELS YOU FOUND THE ADDRESSES IN. Follow the pointers in the memory viewer. If it works every time in any level, you have found the correct pointer. Tell me the pointer and the value you want to set the timer (in seconds) and I can work from there for you.
