So I just ran waithax successfully on o3DS 11.1 but when I clicked on dsiwarehax when waithax finished, homebrew froze. So do i need to do waithax again because I turned my system off or do I just need to fix dsiwarehax or what?

These things are really unstable. Run waithax again. It's hit and miss.

Man, I was really hoping it was just a homebrew issue. So i just need to wait another hour and hope it works right?
Yup. You can verify that you put everything in the right place first if you want, but you're gonna have to wait another hour. Chin up, fasthax will be out soon, and it takes like 10s.

Welppp. I did it again and it crashed. But resetting the 3ds, going into homebrew, and starting up dsiwarehax works. So my question is, can I just run dsiwarehax having already done waithax even though I had to reset the system? Or should I run waithax again but when it finishes exit homebrew (no reboot) then reenter and run dsiwarehax?

Follow this guide https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(save-injection)

Specifically

Section III - waithax
  1. Get into the Homebrew Launcher using your entrypoint
  2. Launch waithax
  3. Wait
    • On New 3DS, this will take about 20 minutes (due to a bug, this can take the same time as an Old 3DS for some systems)
    • On Old 3DS, this will take about an hour
  4. Once it’s done, press (Start) to exit
  5. Launch 3ds_dsiwarehax_installer
  6. Select the DSiWare game you want to install the exploit on
  7. Once it’s done, press (A) to exit
  8. Press (Start) to open the homebrew launcher exit menu
  9. Press (A) to exit

I have an old 3DS with firmware version 11.0.0.33. I installed Soundhax and followed all the steps in the 3DS.guide website. After using waithax I opened Dsiwarehax and installed it on Four Swords. The thing is that when I open four swords, it gets stuck on a white screen, without proceeding. I've checked every file and repeated the process several times. Can someone help me?

Is there a way to make some CPS-1 games run at near full speed on a 2DS? The nightly retroarch I have tried is still quite slow. Guessing I need an N3DS?

Well, shit, I've really done it this time. I made an emuNand, formatted it with Tiny format, and linked a new NNID to it. Now I'm getting error code 022-2634 on my sysNand, with my main NNID. The problem is that my NNID is linked to two "systems" because of Tiny format, yet one of them doesn't exist. Calling Nintendo is no longer an option because I had Field runners and Four Swords. I don't think so, but is there any way-- any way at all-- I might be able to get my stuff back?

I do have A9LH, if that factors into anything. I was thinking of trying to format via system settings, then either restore a NAND backup or CTRNand transfer while injecting appropriate files. I don't think this will work, but any thoughts?

is it normal for a Micro SD Card to get slower as the transfer goes on right now it's in the Kbps.

Yes, because usually all the very small files are transferred at the end. And a lot of small files takes longer than one big one that comes out to the same size.

right now i am not going to call this Micro SD Card out but, it seems it is not saving some of the smaller files.

huh now it's transferring fast, maybe because last night the Card got too hot.

So I finally got dsiwarehax to work and continued the guide, but now after completing the 9.2 downgrade section I can't get into homebrew through soundhax. After playing the file soundhax begins but it freezes then closes then I get an error notification from the system. I also have oot3dhax but I haven't tried that yet. What could be the issue?

UPDATE: oot3dshax did not work either...

you should be able to get into homebrew by oot3dhax, go to the oot3dhax installer, select you system version, boot OOT3d via Cartridge, select the hacked save file, go to the sign and Homebrew should open. do you have another 3DS that has CFW?

Already did this before downgrade. Worked then, but not now. I get the same error as with soundhax. And no I have no other 3ds with CFW.

I am having some issues with getting updates to work for some games. I'm on A9LH and Luma and everything is up to date. When I download an update for Animal Crossing (USA) the game freezes at the Nintendo 3DS launch screen. I also have one EUR title with the matching EUR update and it does the same. When I delete the update from the SD card the games launch fine it seems. Is there some setting I need to change to make my 3ds region free or something?

Is it alright to change the name of the .cia files before installing them? I'm a bit OCD and sometimes change the names of title .cia files for archival purposes. Is that maybe not a good thing to do?

im having a problem, i moved the games i transferred to the 128GB MicroSD Card, and they didnt appear, i think it might be something to do with the TitleDB file

according to my PC it says the Nintendo 3DS file only had 2GB stored on the 128GB Micro SD Card, so at this point i am going to fill it with 61GB of Dummy files, and see if they stick, i think the MicroSD Card is removing the files itself.

I almost wonder if you accidentally bought one of those fake sd cards that's marked as 128GB but actually ends up being like 4GB. A lot of your issues suggest this.
