Hardware PC Build Budget and Help

Hi guys. I have been wanting to do a PC build for a while now. I would like a few reviews on a build of mine ( https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RNdcBP )

Can I have some comments and updates to and on the build so I can have more bang for my buck?

I have a budget of $360. I would like to use it for gaming on Steam.

All help would be appreciated.

For a gaming the gpu is the most important, if you can add 30$ to get nvidia 730. I was thinking about a amd cpu quad core but the tdp might be a problem.

Okay. I will just keep the gpu since all I want it for is 2d games and YouTube. So I don't think it will be a problem. Will I be able to upgrade parts later?

Yeah because it's a ddr4 build with latest intel socket, you can change the cpu and keep motherboard.
The psu might need a change too if you plan on adding a gpu like rx 470 or 1050 ti, not sure if it can handle a 300 watt ( probably not).

Edit: you could add 10/20$ and get evga 500b psu, so you don't have to change it in the future and add gpus like rx 470 or even 1060

Are you sure the 2D games will benefit from the GT710 vs the iGPU at all?
In your situation it might be worthwhile to check out some APUs, wait for AMD's Ryzen APUs please.
Great CPU+GPU in one package.

You could wait for a while and save so that you can get atleast an i3 6100 which has four logical cores, a minimum requirement in many modern games.

The reason why I want a desktop is because I can upgrade it later when I have the money. I just want to use this one for games that are not too demanding until I have the money to upgrade.

So when you have the money to upgrade, will go from a Pentium to the i7? or would you get an i3 or an entry level i5, similarly from the GT710 to an RX480 or from the 710 to a GTX1070. How incremental will your upgrades be? Because that changes a lot of things- the PSU, the case, the cooling etc

Probably to an i3 and a RX470.

I'll get a 500 watt when I actually need it.

I'll change the case when nothing will fit. (I might change it now since that would be a pain to upgrade a case).

I'll also get a CPU cooler. I've seen that the i3 comes with one.

I don't know much about the case, for the rest not bad with a r7 250. You need wifi adapter?

I think you can get the RX460 in your budget for now and land somewhere in the 380usd range. Opting for an i3 6100 brings the total to 435usd
