atm I don't have a 3DS. Maybe I will update it when I got my 3DS back. But don't take this as a promise.
when i save my data, it says magnum (for smb) how i extract the save from dragons z? :c

how can i SEPARATE the saves? xd when i use save manager it backup me a file named MagnumV01.dat...but it doesn't work for dragon z or smd editor

I did mod a vanilla save, but when I apply the update 2.0 back my old save is back magically and not the modified one. how come?
I thought by starting a new game on version 1.0 the game did overwrite the old save?!

The v1 and v2 saves are different files, when I dump the game with jk's save manager it gives me them. If you downgrade to v1 and edit you will have to delete the v2 save for it to not load it when you upgrade.
Hey folks, attached are hexworkshop Bookmarks for the PZD portion of the game for chips, eggs and relic+runes. Also includes separate bookmark files for all english items and eggs. These bookmarks were extracted by comparing the offsets edited by the editor to non edited files and will have the same effect as using the editor to grant all used items/eggs/chips but let you pick which ones you want as well as quantity(great for relics).

I know I'm YEARS late to this, but as a fan that had no idea a tool like this existed in the first place, can someone tell me how to actually make use of it? I got the program running but how do I access the save data to change it using this tool?
You would need JK's Save Manager, either by homebrew or by .CIA if you have CFW-ed your 3DS.
With JK's Save Manager, you can export the save and use the save editor to edit the files, then import the save back into your game.

guys i been searching all over the internet but i could not find any clean save file for puzzle and dragons Z, can someone upload a savefile right at the start after you created your characters name? (i dont want any progress to be made in the game just a fresh savefile pls), i dont care what name or gender you give to the character, i would appreciate if someone can do this for me thank you
