Everything worked just fine until the installation started. After it hit 10% or so (I'm trying to get Twilight Princess HD btw) , it stops and goes back to the black screen where you press A or X to install and it gives the error code OxFFFFF825 "Possible bad SD Card".
It is FAT32 and everything, I'm not usre what to do since I haven't seen anyone talking about this error yet...any help, please?

Same error for me, same game. I even tried formating using EmuNAND9 on 3DS but still without any success.

I've just found a bug. When you try to install a game with a special character it fails. It has happened to me with:

· New Super Marios Bros for DS. The european release has a final dot in the name.
· Oddworld new 'n' Tasty. The " ' " character.
· Pokémon Snap. The "é".

In order to install these games you have to remove the special characters from the folder name.

Hello,i tried accessing the page of the wupinstaller.com/wi but it said ¨Wrong version, only use 5.5.3¨
Is it referring to the homebrew? And if so,how can i update it to that version?

Hey, I have been mostly out of the scene for a very... very long time. I'm taking a break from school (too much stress for too long) and decided to power up my Wii U for the first time in over a year and I pretty much forgot everything I did with it so not quite sure what I should be doing right now.

What I'd like to do is download the DLC I pre-purchased for Mario Kart 8 that I never downloaded because doing so would have required an update (from a physical disc - not a backup title) and also play Mario Maker online and download other people's games. Also from a physical disc - never could get the backup to work right there.

I took a look at the files on the SD card and it looks like the install_spoof_fw folder contains files all dated 9/21/2015 except for title.cert which is dated 4/20/2015 and all the files in the install folder are dated 11/25/2015. My router is still set various Nintendo addresses as an extra step for preventing updates as well. I know that I spoofed firmware, so I checked the settings and it's currently showing as 5.5.0 U , but I know that the latest is supposed to be 5.5.1 U which means I need to spoof it again. So I backed up the contents of the install folder and replaced with the latest download, which is dated January 12th - fitting with the release date, although there were much less files present.

From there, I'm a little less certain of what to check. The guide just says to "Open up Homebrew Launcher and select WUP installer", but where is that? I was using eclipsesin.github.io for exploits. but that gives a 404 error now. I did a quick search on that and found this page so first tried https://exploit.wiiubrew.net/ (since charter cable has been injecting code into my http connections lately - annoying) and it didn't work so had to use http://exploit.wiiubrew.net/ and after a few tries it worked. There I found under Kernel Exploits Homebrew Launcher for WiiU v1.1 so clicked on it to load payload532.html and got the black screen twice before it finally worked. However, then I got the following error:

Could not load file /wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf

So I looked up that problem, found some files here and checked my SD card. It turns out I was completely missing a wiiu/apps folder and I know I didn't touch it in over a year, so I'm guessing there were updates in where files go or how it works. Anyway, I tried again. This time I got:

Race Attack Failed! Reloading Kernel

then I got the black screen error another 5 times, but then... it worked! and I found myself looking at a blue screen with "Homebrew Launcher v1.4 by Dimok" written. I'm sure I have never seen this before and there was no options. Before I would just load the exploit, have a text based menu, and that was it.

Now I am really confused, before I don't see an app for WUP Installer anywhere. I found a list of Homebrew apps here, but don't know which ones to use. I can't rightly select WUP Installer from the Homebrew Channel without a WUP Installer to select, so I decided to try something else. Since there was no way to exit, I powered off and tried again, this time selecting WUP Installer from http://exploit.wiiubrew.net/ and got:

Exploit failed, please try again.

So I restarted and tried again, and this time it acted like the home button was pressed saying "You have no suspended software." so I acted under the assumption that it was working and set a 2 minute timer for myself. After more than 2 minutes have elapsed I went into settings to check the firmware version, but it still shows as 5.5.0 U. For good measure I repeated this, but it didn't work so at this point I have no idea what I should be doing. What exactly am I doing wrong here?

From there, I found a GUI version of the NUS Downloader that let me search for the game updates here , but if I can't even install the spoof update I don't see how I can install the game updates.

EDIT: and when I try www.wupinstaller.com/wi I get a black screen each and every time. Been trying that one on end for a good 15 minutes without success. Would be less annoying if I could bookmark that page directly, but the browser won't let me type a url to add as bookmark.

EDIT 2: I think I figured it out. I followed the directions here: http://www.wupinstaller.com/ which says that you be returned to the home menu twice and then after exiting the second time the install will be silent in the background, but I used this payload instead: http://exploit.wiiubrew.net/wi/payload532.html

To speed thing up, I figured out that if I just bookmark google and rename it I can also change the URL it points to so was able to one click to the payload each time then set the 5 minute timer. After it went off, I restarted the console to see if the firmware number changed, and it did! Firmware now spoofed to 5.5.1 U! So now I know how to go about getting the game updates installed.

I'm thinking the guide should be updated to reflect new links that work better and where the install is actually occurring.

It says that what im downloading isnt a title or update. How do i fix this, is the problem with the title.tik? The spoof seemed to work well enough

I think the real question is , why the fuck are you trying so hard to stay on a lower firmware ? 5.5.1 is the golden firmware now , just update and get haxchi.

Hi Folks,

Hoping some kind guru can help out a noob. I'm new to Wii-U liberation. I have a 5.3.2 console, and use loadiine.ovh, which seems to work. Here is my issue:

Loaded backups of Mario Kart8, DK Country Freeze, Mario Smash Tennis and New Super Mario Bros to a 128GB USB thumb drive. All works well, with launch icons and everything. Used WUP Installer 1.3. Updates are blocked by DNS, so the 4 'good' games Launch, try to update, Fail, then the game Starts A-OK.

Here is my issue: After the 4th game I can not seem to load any more!?!? WUP Installer 1.3 happily and successfully loads to the USB. Presents a message it was all 100% copied, but no Icon appears, and cant find a way to launch the apparently successful install to USB.

Help!!!
