Hacking Been away for a year - what's new?

Hey all. I haven't cracked my N3DS open in a year so I'm a bit out of the loop. Got a "few" questions if you guys don't mind answering. I know there's stickies, etc already, just let me slide this one time please lol.

1) My Sysnand is 9.0-20, Emunand (GW) 10.4.0-29U. Looks like latest update on the GW website is 11.2. Is that for the N3DS or O3DS only?

2) I cheat sometimes (not online and usually after I've played a game once) - GW has it's own cheat engine and there was another one I used... NTR? I feel dumb for asking this but can someone tell me how to "use" each one?

3) Are .cia's still viable for online play? I've never used .3ds files to avoid messing with headers

4) Ummm... think that's all I have

1. 11.2 is for both systems.

2. I got nuffin.

3. Yes.

In the time you've been away, we've had A9LH and CFW replace gateway for almost every need. NTR for cheats. Freeshop. And a whole slew of other utilities and homebrew.

Use 3ds.guide to convert to a9lh, sell the gateway. You also won't need a emunand, after installing a9lh, you can safely update sysnand. In answer to the question though, both.

Yes, so long as you don't do something stupid like play leaked games online before release date.

Thanks for the quick and non-judgmental answers guys. I just needed a quick push in the right direction as far as up-to-date info. I'll check out a9lh. Nice that you can safely update sysnand with it.

Right!! Lol thanks again for answering. I know you just answered a few questions but that's what I like about this site/forum - so many helpful people for those that come back from a long hiatus like myself.
