I think DeviceID 1234 got banned, and all the NNIDs on it got banned.
I actually just checked the miiverse site, and it turns out that my NNID is now banned. I recieve the Error code 121-5936 when I try to login through my browser. FML. There goes all of my legitimately purchased games, and my ambassador games. Over $100 out the window. -_-

I kinda expected this, I mean, a whole mass of users using the same DeviceID is highly suspicious, and with what happened with Pokemon, I believe Nintendo finally learned how to operate their servers.

Sadly I used the modded a9lh for a few days with a very old NNID of mine, it also got banned. At least my main one is safe (since I was unable to link it haha)

So it's possible that this new ban for using the 1234 DeviceID isn't a ban on the NNID. I am still able to use the eshop and everything on my WiiU. I am just locked out of using Miiverse on my PC.

vWii has a pretty good chance of sharing the same device cert with the other half of the Wii U. On a normal Wii, this is independent, and getting banned on this will only restrict you from the Wii Shop Channel, though if you get banned on your vWii DeviceID, it's not only over for your vWii, but your Wii U too. The original Wii never had Nintendo Network.

Definitely I should kept my wii u. ill buy one to dump vwii nand and wiiu nand to check certs...

But still waiting for @Joom to drop the BOMB...

So from what I see, you can't generate device IDs, but there should "soon" be a way to use your wii ID as a 3ds ID so you don't actually need 2 3ds's but you can do with a 3ds and a wii?

Because the process would be the same as the one to unban yourself with 2 handhelds, right?

It will either be with another 3DS, another Wii or another Wii U. They all work.

It won't be a simple 'fix' like with LocalFriendCodeSeed_B where you have to drop the file in NAND, it'll have to be another A9LH payload like this.
If the 3DS actually appears to be able to sign CTCerts, you won't need another console, because the server doesn't check the DeviceID or the Device-Cert to see if they're real or not, they just need to match with a signature in the file.

Either way, you'll have to wait a while for more info to be released.

Hah, so I wasn't that "stupid" when I guessed a dsi could have a similar device ID file. Who would have guessed it would be Wii and Wii-us instead.

I think they do, and I am very sure they do, but we cannot confirm that at the moment and it's pretty much useless. It'd be cool to do that though, since the DSi Shop is pretty much dead too.

I playable Pokémon freeshop version back up, before the release but didn't go online. Is it safe for me to go online now, or do I have to delete the game ticket, history... Etc and start over my save?

If you're not banned, you're safe. However, I don't know about your save file, I wouldn't go online with it, but I don't know for sure.

Oh man... Starting over with the horrible tutorial is gonna be a pain. But I am worried that Nintendo can still ban me if they have access to my play log? Old Pokémon ticket? Street pass data?

It isn't sure if it is safe to play online with a save data from pre-release, but I think you could edit the date with pkhex
