With the R4's all new Auto DLDI patching in v1.10, I didn't need to patch a thing!

I simply downloaded the new Lemmings DS v7 Full version copied the files across and selected the game and hey presto!

It just works!

Brilliant!

Superb, its my birthday soon and this is an great gift. I love Lemmings and its nice to see a pure port not just a jazzed up for the sake of it version. Wonderful game, simple yet taxing and sometime frustrating but always great to play. Plays even better with the stylus. Thank you so much for this version.

Games I would love to see done for the DS in their original form as I think they would be suited well to the handheld.....

Dungeon Keeper 2
Jazz Jackrabbit
Diablo
Magic Carpet 2
Cannon Fodder

I simply loved these games. The Jazz Jackrabbit on the GBA was a poor version, Cannon Fodder on the GBA was a really good attempt considering the hardware limitations and Diablo 2 on the PC wasn't very good IMHO.

Once again thanks. Look forward to your next project.

absolutely awesome! thanks so much for this homebrew - straight onto my r4, where it will stay for quite some time.

playing it now and knowing that my gf will take posession of the ds and never let me have it back now that she cant sit there and happily kill off lemmings all day long!

anyone remember a coverdisk for some amiga magazine which crossed sensible soccer with cannon fodder - you played with a grenade which went off occasionaly and took out any players nearby - quality stuff!

Hello,
I have a problem, it doesn't work on my R4 1.10

I just copied everything to the root, but it says "The standard Lemmings DS directory structure could not be verified"
What can I do?

There were two, the one you mentioned is Cannon Soccer and the other was called Unsensible Soccer. You can find reference to them in the trivia part of here

Or possibly here as 'Sensible Soccer Meets Bulldog Blighty'

It's cool that it has all the levels. I was one of the people that complained it didn't have all the levels before. At that time, while a nice port, it made the game useless to me. Now that it actually DOES have all the levels, I'll be happy.

Who actually made the original Lemmings game anyway? I don't remember. Maybe this dude could catch a royalty from that company and have it produced officially for the DS.

Everything seems to be working fine except for one problem i've found. Level 23 - fun "I've Lost that lemming Feeling" Isn't the right level. Matter of fact the level that it is doesn't even have a door in it. So you can't pass it at all. The only reason i know this isn't really level 23 is that after not being able to find the door i looked up the map for level 23 only to find it looks completely different.

Am i the only one having this problem?

Otherwise everything is working great for me.

Oh and I'm using R4DS loader v1.10

I'm running into a bug making the game unplayable, can anyone verify? The toolbar where you select which lemming does what, it doesn't work properly for me. I have a M3 SD Lite. When I click a digger for example, the lemming becomes one but the digger count does not decrease. Instead, the climber count does. Or sometimes I would click for a lemming to become a bomb and he would become something else entirely. This happens with basically every lemming-type on the toolbar. Can anyone else install it and tell me if they experience the same thing? And yes, this is not a calibration issue. It's a bug.

I have the same problem on the R4. Mine doesn't have to be DLDI patched either.

I also ran into this bug on the LEMS A - FUN (Now Use Miners and Climbers) level. Anyone finish this level without a hitch? Most other levels seems to be working fine, although I haven't finish a lot of them...

R4, Firmware 1.10, autopatched DLD1

I am a Lemmings fan from way back and bought the Lemmings game on the PSP, but touchscreen makes this game so much more fun.

Hopefully, it will remain under Sony's radar. After all, I doubt they would be happy to see their property running on a rival platform.

The author of the program has confirmed this is a bug. He said there are tons of bugs he found related to this and is going to have to patch each one, so it could take awhile. :'(

No problems here, I completed Now Use Miners and Climbers without a hitch.
I'm now up to level 20 and have not came across any bugs so far.
