So nedwill uploaded a video showing him load into the hbl through the 3ds sound app. iirc he executed the hack on an 11.2 3ds. Any news on when he'll release this and if it's a primary or secondary exploit?

EDIT: hack was done on 11.0 3ds

This has been out for a while, and he has stated multiple times he is going to release it in December at 33c3.

Nice, it's been confirmed that the $100 black friday New 3DS' come with 11.0, so those with a banned system don't have to risk banning their other system during system transfer to hack it, with a bad lfcs in movable.sed if they're willing to wait until december

Yes. It works on the latest 11.2 firmware, as nintendo does will not know how to patch such a complicated exploit as his until he releases it.

is there a reason this is so important or somthing ? because i can access homebrew on 11.2.0-35u without any problems
with "sky3ds+ with a rom of ninja hax"

Some people (like me) don't really have the money to buy an exploitable game or a flashcard to run it. But soundhax allows homebrew right from the 3ds sound app which everyone has installed on their console so no need to spend money on a game.
