Mass Effect Andromeda - Official Cinematic Trailer

As well as today being my birthday, it is also N7 day, and time for a new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer. Check it out below:

The journey to Andromeda begins now. Navigate the uncharted reaches of the Andromeda Galaxy to unravel its mysteries, discover vivid alien worlds, and lead the charge to find a new home among the stars. How far will you go to become humanity’s hero?

Mass Effect: Andromeda is coming Spring 2017 to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and Xbox One.

Cool! I still haven't played 1-3 yet after hearing about the ending, and playing a demo that was boring cover-based shooting. I'll probably wait for some HD update though. This looks shiny, though, so I'm tempted to play it on PC. Worth it?

Happy Birthday!

Eh, I've never played Mass Effect. I don't really have an opinion on this.

Crappy music aside, the game looks proming at the very least. Slighltly optimistic about this one.

ME 1 Ending: BRING ME ME2!
ME 2 Ending: BRING ME ME3!
ME 3 Ending: *sigh* Bring me a double scotch...

Still worth it imo, unless you don't have access to the DLC of ME 3.

The problem is people thought the "Ending" of Mass Effect 3 was the "ending"

They fail to see the ENTIRE GODDAMN GAME was the ending to the series for the player. Choices made during the previous games all had some form of completion. The Citadel DLC was awesome to play before going on the final mission as well to wrap even MORE up.

I played all 3 in a row on X360 and loved it. ME1 was boring in many parts (moon rover bullshit, wandering around Citadel) but set a good groundwork, ME2 was interesting and expanded everything a LOT and if you did the suicide mission without losing anyone it was perfect, then 3 was the payoff to everything for the entire game.

Yeah the "ending" was just a cutscene and a FMV, but to say that was the whole "ending" is ignorant.

So there, vote for America, vote for Mass Effect!

2 and 3 were less RPGish?
I just completed the first one and I liked it. I hope to play the others soon.

I'll probably wait for some HD update though.
is there any info about that, or just hoping for any HD version one day?

Ps: I tried to not read this thread too much, lot of "ending" related messages .. must .. no be .. spoiled (no, I still don't know about ME3 ending, I'm trying to not read anything about it since the game's release haha)

No evidence of it yet, just the general murmur of "you know they're going to do it eventually". Since they're all available for PC already, I'm guessing they'll get around to it eventually.

I hear there are some brilliant HD mods for the pc versions though. Might give those a shot.

Which platform you played? I liked me 1 on my first play, hated me2 , but absolutely loved me 3.

After a replay, I feel 1 was so outdated, I am glad you played it first. Most people probably won't be a able to stand me 1 after playing me 2 first

Lol I actually liked Mass Effect 1 and 2 a lot but for 3 ... it was really really hard for me to complete it and not because it had a high difficulty but because it was just so bad. I am not even sure anymore if I actually completed it but i think I did.

Hopefully the new one will go back to the roots and will be good again.

I played it on PS3. I have the trilogy version, and will try to transfer my save each time it's possible. So playing all on PS3 will be required, or I'll lose the save transfer feature.

they said Andromeda will be exploring unknown worlds again, feeling like ME1. I wonder if there's no exploration anymore in 2 and 3. They dropped it?
Well, I shouldn't read too much, I like experiencing and discovering games.

Well, exploration on the first game wasn't anything to write home about to begin with. You still have sidequests on foreign planets but without having to endure driving Mako on giant empty desserts with scattered points of interest.
